We were all here when every single person on this thread (except me and sir Goke7 of course) were lamenting and calling him all sorts of names because of a "rumor," as in a rumor, that he has accepted to go to Saudi Arabia to play for Al-Hilal. Those same set of people are still saying that he should've gone to Saudi Arabia 😂

On this thread I think people here have quadruple standards, because double standards will sound like an oversimplification at this point!

What status ❓

Too many clubs if not all the top clubs in the top five leagues don't seem too value him the way we do here. And it's not because he is African, Drogba, Etoo, Mane, Salah, etc did not come from Europe.
If you think Osimhen does have the talent to attain the status of these names you mentioned, you are seriously in denial,José Mourinho agrees with that fact.

Osimhen is to be the next global superstar from Africa after those names,Kanu,Jay-Jay,Yaya Toure, Roger Mila and Abidi pele included.

Some of these players just happened to be at the right club at the right time.

You talk of value,Osimhen currently holds the record the most expensive African footballer for God's sake.

Galatasaray has agreed to pay the complete €75M release clause for Osimhen!

Last details are being sorted out!

This is an example of a club that knows what the want. I'll say it again, phucc Premier League clubs! I'm genuinely surprised at how "Galatasaray" are very intent on signing this guy!
Galatasaray is not as rich as the Big Six in the Premier League, but see how they are willing to spend everything to sign Osimhen, it shows they know his worth, it shows they value him and it shows they respect him.

The most expensive signing in the Turkish league history was €20M – En-Nesyri in 2024. Osimhen will set a record of €75M!

I'm just disappointed in every Nigerian that wanted Osimhen to reduce his wages for PL clubs.

Osimhen was on €12M salary at Napoli
Galatasaray will now pay him €16M annually

If they can do this, there's no team in the Big Six that can't. They just want to water down his worth. They can gettout!

HERE WE GO soon 🔜 ⏳

All the best to him but I believe one play football for 2 things legacy or money since didn’t want to move to a top club he should have just moved to Saudi Arabia and make money instead of wasting his prime in Turkish league cause even if he score 50 goals next season he might not even come second on apoty there is nothing in Turkish league nobody rate it as good as dead

Former Napoli sporting chief Pierpaolo Marino is doubting the deal, according to him, Galasatary may be fronting for either Juventus or AC Milan since the release clause exclude Italian clubs.

"My doubt is: Turkish teams have always incentivized players with pharaonic wages, but they have never paid that much for the player’s registration cards. Now it is said that Galatasaray could pay the clause to Napoli for Osimhen.

“And my doubt is: if the player were to go there, is it possible that the operation is aimed at bypassing the termination clause for Italy and bringing him here in a year at the price of the clause valid today for abroad?

“I think my doubt is quite well-founded. I would be curious to see where he will go in a year. Am I saying that there is a company behind Galatasaray? Yes, an Italian one, in my opinion. It could also be fantasy, but since Juventus and Milan are interested, I think it is such an intelligent strategy “

exactly how I feel about this Osimhen transfer saga. As a player you go where you are wanted. Check how Chelsea sign those big players during Abramovic era. Not what United is doing

I am even seeing some Napoli fans comment on tuttonapoli saying there should be some kind of clause in the contract that he wouldn't be sold to an Italian club after one year

I have tried to stay away from this Osimhen saga, but looking at Napoli's madness, I would rather he left on loan yet again to run down his contract with Napoli, then leave the club next year as a free agent. Napoli does not deserve to earn a dime from selling Osimhen after messing up his opportunity with PSG.

Napoli isn't sending Osimhen on a loan. They are 100% either selling him or make the next one year a living hell for him. Sending him on a loan is a lose-lose for them.

Banky I know you are a big Osimhen supporter but don't mix up issues.
Always remember to insert the word "instead"

They did not want him to go Saudi Arabia, but if he is signing the Galatasaray deal solely because of money, he should instead go to Saudi.

But for me,if there is another reason they don't want us to know for now that would allow him to leave turkey within a year or two,I say good luck to him, because those Italians are very difficult to deal with.

Haaland's rise in salary as he left Bundesliga to Man City from £7.1M to £19.5M, but Osimhen asking for what he currently earns is the greedy one.

All of the aforementioned are not in dispute though. I am quite familiar with how bad things are administratively at the NFF which I'm turn leads to logistical nightmares for the players. The subject however is on the flight from Atlanta to Rio which Mikel has severally claimed he paid for when he didn't.

I don't need convincing to know the NFF owes Mikel money for some of the things he personally catered for, the flight to Rio just isn't one of them which is the point.
Honestly the problem is precedent.

Can a leopard 🐆 change it's spots , I am more inclined to believe Mikel. What's disturbing 😱 is the deafening silence 🤐 from other players. I guess 💭 nobody wants WAHALA, who TRUTH help for Nigeria.

Reminds me of the also DEAFENING silence 🤐 of our Supreme court in the Rivers state Crisis. Everybody knows but nobody wants to TALK 🗣️ silence of agreement 🤝🏿

You will now say somebody HATES.

How can you even attempt to compare Haaland to VO they are on totally different levels.

Do you know that since age 18 Haaland has never scored less than 20+ league goals in a season. He is also two years younger than VO, a complete enigma tested, proven and established WORLD 🌎 CLASS.

In comparison VO has only scored more than 15 league goals once in his entire career in a top 5 league in Europe.

And you are comparing both of them and then to insult to injury 🤕 plus delusion you are calling somebody DAFT for expressing a view 😞😞

Jubilation upon jubilation look at triple standard with bigotry.

A young player full of promise and potential is going to Turkish retirement league, and you want to say it's good. Just because it's VO.

Money 🤑 is not everything.

You are only as valuable as the market says you are it's very simple. But many of you find that fact very hard to grasp. You even think he is being discriminated against.
