Umuahia — Senator Joseph Waku has said that there was an agreement he (Obasanjo) reached with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) before assuming office in 1999 to run for only one term.

The controversial senator who came to limelight last year when he was accused of calling for military take-over of the present government, was speaking in Umuahia last weekend where he was a guest of Governor Orji Uzor Kalu.
