Diabetes cant be reversed.
It can only be managed!
Tendd:
She is too young and also not fat or overweight to have diabetes.l hope we don't go blaming the hostel attendant for doing her job.You must be cautious if you are a patient of any chronic disease. This could have happened anywhere.May her soul rest in peace.

Well, to those of you that like drinking all forms of sugary or carbonated drinks, these are the risks involved.Your lifespan would obviously get shortened. Also for those who don't exercise regularly, you stand the risk to all health challenges.Overeating is harmful and endeavour to do intermittent fasting, for a better health.Furthermore, diabetes can be reversed with a better nutrition and a regular exercise.

Diabetes doesn't kill that fast. Anyone can go weeks without their insulin. So it's something else that killed her, not diabetes medication.
Who is this one? Diabetes kill fast. What if it hyperglycemia or hypoglycemia.....what do you mean by diabetes doesn't kill fast....stop typing what you don't know about pls

Sentiment aside, somebody that walked to the hostel will not die of diabetes if not given drugs that day. If it is type 1 diabetes, I mean total insulin absence, worst that will happen is that she may fall into DKA which is an emergency, she will not still die if taken to hospital. The time they used to argue, why not go to pharmacy and get the drugs. If they have any thing against their mistress, they should say it but to hang the death of a "diabetic patient" on her is not correct.

Do you need drug for hypoglycemia? The guy is correct, diabetes will not kill her that day. Let them look for what killed her. Let's assume the glucose level is so high that she fell into coma either hyperosmotic or Dka depending on the type of diabetes , she will not still die suddenly if rushed to the hospital.
If it is hypoglycemia, she will not still die suddenly except she took high dose of insulin.

This is currently a disease ravaging the youths, thought to be only prone to old people before now.

Shockingly, it is life style disease cause by the nonsense we eat, and call enjoyment.

Nigeria need a massive nutritional awareness in all aspect.

We are getting killed by our poor choices.
Not really nature just happens sometimes the people having a certain disease live a more healthier life style. I get your point of making ones health a priority

Good, this plainly explain why the mistress is not responsible for her death.

I am very sure that hostel mistress is connected one way or another to APC. This is exactly how APC is behaving towards Nigerians now.
RIP to the young lady. So sad. Died because of someone's wickedness
You can see that your meaningless comment doesn't have a single like.

I know what I'm talking about when it comes to diabetes. Just pray not to have it. Too much comes with it when it comes to taking care of it. I used to love soccer and was a good player too, can't do that now from fears of getting hurt. Feet don't work same no more.

I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes over 10 years ago and I've been on insulin for that long. I inject myself 5 times a day in my stomach with Novolog and Basaglar.

I've gone weeks without them and didn't die. Sometimes I forgot them in refrigerators in my hotel rooms in places I traveled to. I lives normally as long as I controlled my diet.

So, someone dieing overnight from not using his or her insulin is strange to me, unless that's a different brand of diabetes I haven't heard of.

I'm a diabetic and I avoid certain foods and exercise like doctors advice, so I can go an entire month or more without my insulin. I check my blood sugar daily, some meals help control it, just avoid what raises it.

I shouldn't be discussing my personal health conditions online, but I just did so others are properly guided.

Peace

I'm also a diabetic, type 1 too. Was diagnosed in 2018. I have experience hypoglycemia not once, not twice....that thing is very close to death....that why I believe someone can die of it. I also have a brother that died of it. The good thing about you is that you have money to manage it. You can afford good meals and some other things. Not everyone can afford to manage it or have money to manage it. I use novorapid and lantus too. God will help us All.
