1kinggy:So other assets management are experiencing this too? |
| Re: Mutual Funds by 0ubenji(m): 9:14pm On Jul 10, 2025 |
Tolu2024:You must be really new to this, and I'm really scared for you. Having committed such a significant sum of money to something you have no inkling of its workings. It's Money Market, not Cowrywise market. Any rates you see are from the money market. This is not CBEX, and my worry is something happens now, which you probably could have decided better on, but due to limited knowledge, you probably skipped that and face an adverse outcome, then you come out to say Cowrywise is a scam and stuff. I urge you to please take 30 minutes with ChatGPT to ask just about anything on Money Market Funds that pops up on your mind (no matter how silly) and carefully read the responses. Always be ready to read to get knowledge about anything that involves your money. This is not sarcasm. Stay safe. To reiterate, no other asset manager is giving close to what you are currently getting on Cowrywise. 20+% is the prevalent rate this week while Cowrywise is giving 22% (21.95% today) |

0ubenji:First time I am into real estate I buy and sell property but my money short so I decide instead of leaving it in my account with no interest let me invest it. I wanted to buy TBills . Went to different banks non seem interested to listen to me or take me serious I guess they thought I am too small because of my stature . So I decided to do little research about mmf and best firm to use . |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Chescowrites(m): 6:26am On Jul 11, 2025 |
Tolu2024:That makes a lot of sense. Since you’re already into property, you might want to read up on something called fractional real estate investing. It’s a way people are starting small but still getting exposure to real estate without buying a whole house or land upfront. Worth researching if you're looking for where to grow your funds. |

Chescowrites:Please which one is fractional real estate investing Details! |

REMEMBER THIS: Make more money than you spend, grow/invest more money than you need, be intentional and consistent about it. The end result is financial freedom |

Chescowrites:MMF is safer than this investment option you pitching to Mr Tolu. Mr Tolu, Stick with MMF for your sure capital preservation first, before talking or considering interest rate /dividends. That's the secret of preserving wealth. |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Tolu2024(m): 9:45am On Jul 11, 2025 |
Chescowrites:I will make research about it thanks |

| Re: Mutual Funds by iamL(f): 2:23pm On Jul 11, 2025 |
emmasoft:Can you explain more about this please, I wanted to buy TB but I need more Enlightenment about securities like this. I have been to both first and zenith bank but I didn't get a satisfactory explaination. |
| Re: Mutual Funds by emmasoft(m): 2:37pm On Jul 11, 2025*. Modified: 4:49pm On Jul 11, 2025 |
iamL:Kindly get in touch. I will send you a voice note that will explain to you and then you can ask questions. Many folks here are in touch with me and I'm sure they are happy with what they know now. |
| Re: Mutual Funds by iamL(f): 2:37pm On Jul 11, 2025 |
Tolu2024:The same thing I experienced when I went to both zenith and first bank. It's not about your stature some of those staff are just looking for whom to swindle through their own personal investment if you insisted on TB they won't want to attend to you. |
| Re: Mutual Funds by iamL(f): 3:03pm On Jul 11, 2025 |
0ubenji:Please do you have any ideal of FBN current rate for TB? |
| Re: Mutual Funds by 0ubenji(m): 3:52pm On Jul 11, 2025 |
iamL:sorry, I don't. |

freeman67:Is the bolded similar to Pension Fund Administrator (PFA)? |
| Re: Mutual Funds by oluseg2: 10:08am On Jul 12, 2025 |
Is it possible to move a large percentage of the balance in my retirement savings account (say 80%) to money market fund upon retirement?. I mean instead of getting the initial 50% and then going for either annuity or programmed withdrawal. Currently using IBTC Pension Managers. Thanks |

oluseg2:How do I check money market rate? The stanbic app am using doesn't show rate |
| Re: Mutual Funds by nickae: 12:03pm On Jul 12, 2025 |
TinaJoe:Try the Stanbic IBTC Mobile v3 On their latest app. You would see BluNest. You can use that to view your mutual funds rate under self service |
| Re: Mutual Funds by emmasoft(m): 12:34pm On Jul 12, 2025 |
oluseg2:Discuss with your PFA. Fund utilization in your pension fund has guidelines. |
| Re: Mutual Funds by emmasoft(m): 1:16pm On Jul 12, 2025 |
TinaJoe:Login to your account via BluNest and click on investments, all the funds managed by Stanbic and their rate or price will be displayed |
| Re: Mutual Funds by 0ubenji(m): 2:02pm On Jul 12, 2025*. Modified: 2:44pm On Jul 12, 2025 |
emmasoft:I noticed the Stanbic IBTC Conservative fund isn't listed in the available funds on BluNest. Is it because of its exclusive nature, with a 20 million minimum investment capital? Perhaps it's coz I'm not on Premium Tier yet? |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Neurotika: 2:18pm On Jul 12, 2025 |
TinaJoe:Well, for those of us that still use the old mobile app. Just click on mutual funds on the regular bank app, go to the log in page, then click on “create an instant account”, the MMF rate will appear. |
| Re: Mutual Funds by emmasoft(m): 3:52pm On Jul 12, 2025 |
0ubenji:I don't think it's because of your account level. The funds they refer to as umbrella funds, where this Conservative fund falls under, are only visible on their website, not the app, whether it's the old or BluNest. Others are Absolute Return and Aggressive Funds |
| Re: Mutual Funds by 0ubenji(m): 4:22pm On Jul 12, 2025 |
emmasoft:It was on the BluNest website and not app where I see the performance metrics of all mutual-funds except for that very one. |
| Re: Mutual Funds by emmasoft(m): 4:51pm On Jul 12, 2025 |
0ubenji:The same thing I just said. It's on the website, not the app. You can even find all the factsheet on the website. |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Peterpan222(m): 5:05pm On Jul 12, 2025 |
richgang:Baba a quick one eh, this Dedicated Stanbic IBTC account eh. Can I use it as my personal bank account and give it out to people as my Stanbic account? |
| Re: Mutual Funds by nickae: 8:45pm On Jul 12, 2025 |
Peterpan222:Sure, but then all the monies paid goes to your wallet, which of course you can withdraw |
| Re: Mutual Funds by lilsyd: 9:17pm On Jul 12, 2025 |
emmasoft greetings sir. Please what's the average MMF rate as at today. UCAP has been under 20% for a couple of weeks now. Makes we wonder. |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Hatrick123: 9:34pm On Jul 12, 2025 |
How long does it take for withdrawals on stanbic MMF (blunest) to hit once account |
| Re: Mutual Funds by 0ubenji(m): 11:09pm On Jul 12, 2025 |
emmasoft:I perhaps didn't make that part clear. I mean, I was talking about the BluNest website, where I can't find it. Yes, it's on the factsheet page but not on the mutual funds listing page. |
| Re: Mutual Funds by 0ubenji(m): 11:11pm On Jul 12, 2025 |
lilsyd:those ones have been consistently under 20%. Even when others are giving 21+. A worrying wonder it is. |

Details!
you are in the spirit. I just got off a call with my contact there, and he told me there were issues with the launch. It will be completed next Wednesday, but just for the website portal. The mobile app fix for new users will come much later. Once the stuff is launched for the web portal, new users will be able to log in and track their investments.
