Put poverty and bad governance aside, this is peer pressure. As a matter of fact, most of the people here can afford to feed well in Nigeria. Poor Nigerians do not have money for passport and visa.

My comment is based on the caption of the post. I don't waste my time on such videos. What brought the crowd is also what brought her. So whatever she thinks of the crowd also applies to her.
she said she was there for a different reason. To make inquiry for a client precisely

Anything to trend. Na today people dey japa? Make we see crowd for u.k embassy first
people don't go to UK embassy for visa. UK embassy has a visa processing centre that collects people's passports and bring to them, they make the decision and give back to the centre to give the applicants

Extreme terrorism and hunger - two evils brought by APC are making people flee Nigeria in droves Even Belarus
Those still supporting APC because of tribalism should be ashamed of themselves .

Konquest:
What sort of sensationalism is this? I don't see a very large crowd in that video.

Second, she's talking as if Belarus is a poor country with uneducated folks which it isn't. Coincidentally I read and watched documentaries years back about Belarus. The standard of education is very high in that country being a former member of the defunct Soviet Union which placed strong emphasis on the sciences, engineering, etc, so you have a large pool of men and women who are today in the tech ecosystem, investment banking and more.

Third, for those trying to get to Belarus through their embassy in Nigeria, I hope some of them are NOT allowing themselves to be foolishly recruited to go and fight in the Russian-Ukraine War through Belarus which is a key ally of Russia? Belarus has also faced Western sanctions for allowing Russia to use it's territory to launch attacks on Ukraine. There is ALSO CLEARLY a language barrier so they have to learn the local language.

Due diligence is key. Period.
Well, science or not, the country is ruled by a mad man. Dude might wake up tomorrow and conscript all of them and send them to Ukraine.

Sri Lanka?

Long Civil war finished like yesterday in Sri Lanka. The country healed its wound, like in Rwanda. But in Nigeria, Civil war that ended 55 years ago is still fought on political and economic fronts by the SW and North regions against the SE region.

It's not peer pressure pls, It's poverty and bad governance. If Nigeria was doing well even the white man will migrate to this place.

They are heading there now and later they will begin to voice their grievances. Everyone is seeking an improved life, yet they go to these countries and start engaging in criminal activity.I am one of them
So sad brotherly, let's hope that the current government works to reduce poverty and corruption. We need a positive change in our country.

Nigeria is a prison and a cemetery.

The life goal of most citizens is to escape and those who escape are happy they did. Those who are unlucky and the lucky ones who die are happy to be buried there.

I truly pity those fleeing from Nigeria to Belarus. You're jumping from the frying pan into the fire. Even Belarusians themselves are escaping to places like Poland, the Czech Republic, and Hungary—looking for work, freedom, and a better life. Yet you're leaving freedom behind and walking straight into a form of slavery. Sadly, you'll learn the hard way."

The poor do not sell their land or borrow money to relocate. Fools are the ones that do such things.
