So why does Obi want to dodge a primary? Did Tinubu not go through a primary in APC? He wants it handed over to him and that's not fair to other formidable candidates. Let him test his popularity within the coalition.

Ameachi will win obi if they are the only one contesting. The north will trust Ameachi fsr more than the tribal and religion bigot. Obi had ended his presidency with the infamous phone call. Northern Muslim will never support him. The likes of Tanko are just cashing out. Why has he not be moving from northern states like Atiku and market obi.
