TheSuperNerd:In terms of Osimhen going to Arsenal. You are a fan of no club. That, I already know. Perhaps, supporter of clubs with Nigerian. |

The Gyökeres transfer to Arsenal might just be a template for what Europe is expecting from Osimhen. Offers 2m from his salary. Rejects other clubs early, sticks by only Arsenal Agents reduce commission. However, the most important detail is he doesn't take a salary reduction. In fact he gets 400% increase on his net salary. |

TheLoneCitizen:Don't mind him and his praise singers here. He messed up big time...imagine he accepted Chelsea offer last season even though it was a loan instead of going to Gala....he try put up those numbers he scored for Gala and with this trophies his stock would've risen so highly and many top clubs would have come for him even Chelsea would've signed him permanently with his preferred wage Dude has bad advisers and agent. If his agent has sense he should offer him to Liverpool and with plans for oshimen to reduce his wages |

Darkprime:I love your analysis. The funny thing is dude might not end up not even winning afcon with Nigeria or ever playing at the world cup. So what makes him prime a Nigeria player So many players including the one he insulted on IG live video won champions league and also won the nations cup with Nigeria.... There is nothing spectacular he has done that others didn't do probably for the fact that he is the first of Nigeria players that visits celebrities and eat from their table and row with them...like pals |

The thing that worries me the most about this Osimhen Gala move are the long term financial (and other) implications. Brands pay a premium for the presence of PL/UCL/World cup winners long after they retire. The gains from succeeding at the topmost level far outstrip any salary gains from this move. Some may argue that it is the "love" from the Turkish fans and club that heavily influenced his final decision. I think it is unwise to make a move based on that. One freak injury can turn that love into a "he is 4x our record signing and doesn't even play" situation. The opposite of love is not hate but indifference, so one bad incident or injury can turn the same intensity of love into an intensity of hate. His last Napoli season is evidence of that. To optimize for the best short/long term outcomes, it is best to make a quiet move with a reasonable fee and wages (less pressure) to a more competitive club and league. As Pawpaw would say, "this is business". |

Fabrizio has been repeating that the salary Gala offered Osimhen is 16m gross. For context, Haaland is Europe's highest earner. He earns 15m gross. How are Gala doing this? |

TheLoneCitizen:I may be wrong. But I suspect galatasaray will be forced to sell osimhen within a year. Maybe even January. They can't keep up with the expenses. Maybe mineybfrom shirt or ticket sells or his image. Ilthe president of a galatasaray may be sacked for financial recklessness. This purchase of osimhen may bankrupt the club. But maybe the president knows what he is doing. Bit with ehatbi see this is financial suicide. Abi hiw dem go pay am. This is gbese |

Philosopher1979:more like a gamble. Throwing everything during this transfer window and hoping gala progresses enough in europe to ensure this is not a financial mistake. |

Titian22:The sad part of it is that, the longer he declines signing for a big club at his club, the more difficult it will be to sign for them because as the season goes by, a new striker emerges. For example, Chelsea new striker looks like a potential world class player and dude came out from oblivion |
