cos most primaries are done by vote buying which he is not good with.
Eriokanmi:
Where and when did he tell you this?
ShoProperties:
cos obi's followers are organic he doesn't need to pay $30k to any delegate
angelboy01:
30 naira per post BMC. He's right though, OBi will beat your BAT black & blue anytime anyday without INEC. Obi did it in Lagos and he will do more this time. Let's see where BAT will get 12M votes from. Omo ase.
Why then did Obi rig the entire south east?

How do you expect free ticket hunter to contest when he knows he will fail weofully. The primaries will be the easiest for Atiku cos he won't even spent money to bribe delegates like he normally do. He has Northern state delegates to his side and he is penetrating the south. Meanwhile obi is busy serving rice.

Obi is not afraid of primaries. He is only trying to be fair. North did 8yrs straight. It is only fair enough to allow the south to do their own 8yrs. The north will never allow any cheating too. This is what Atiku did in the last election that made PDP loose that election, he has started again. If he insist on being the presidential candidate again this time, he will loose galantly again

tinubu should make obi is minister of finance, let us see what and what he can do with that office first.the only thing I keep hearing is that when he was a governor,he saved billions before leaving office but why save that much when there are human and infrastructural developments on ground to do with money so please we want to see our money being used to better the lives of our people.

You question Peter Obi’s integrity while openly supporting Ahmed Tinubu, a figure whose track record is widely regarded as questionable, yet you support and portray him as a paragon of virtue. One must ask: have you truly reflected on the contradictions in your own position?.

That said, it is important to reassert a basic truth: it remains the South's turn to lead, and we cannot relinquish that justified claim. And this is not a new sentiment, even Tinubu, your preferred candidate once declared "Èmi l’ókàn" in Abeokuta, a clear assertion of entitlement.

Now, consider this: Atiku Abubakar’s pursuit of personal political ambition is the reason the PDP is weakened, reducing it to a faint shadow of the formidable party it once was. Should he continue on this path, especially in light of the potential realignment following the death of former President Buhari, his influence will likely wane further. The vacuum created presents a strategic opportunity for his former CPC caucus within the APC to reconfigure the political landscape.

In this emerging reality, Nasir El-Rufai is by the nature of things positioned as the de facto political leader of the North. With Buhari’s exit, El-Rufai stands to inherit a significant portion of the former president’s support base.

A Peter Obi–Nasir El-Rufai presidential ticket would present a formidable coalition, one capable of defeating Ahmed Tinubu decisively, perhaps even before midday on election day.
Obi (a "knight" of the Catholic Church) should pair with El-Rufai (a man alleged of causing the death of christians in southern Kaduna). Politics is something else.

While Atiku Abubakar may be entitled to exercise his constitutional rights, it is worth reflecting on the broader context in which rights are claimed and exercised. One might draw a parallel with individuals, such as unmarried women, who are well aware of their rights, yet often make personal choices that raise questions about the consistency between entitlement and action. Most are still warming various beds in exercise of their rights.

The reality remains: it is the South’s turn to produce the next president. This reflects the established pattern of Nigeria’s political rotation, not necessarily the ideal, but a practical framework that has underpinned our fragile unity. Constantly interrogating and undermining this arrangement does little to promote stability or fairness.

Ultimately, every right has its limits. As the saying goes, the exercise of one person’s rights must end where another’s begin.

The same subsidy removal the current one and the now officialy dead used to pull GEJ down.
Now the current one who has a notorious background thinks he's best to remove it. Then he he removed it,without a any cushioning effect to reduce the masses suffering. The monies accrued from the subsidy is being stolen and some used to in some sort of white Elephant projects, presidential yatch,vp house etc that adds no meaning to the masses life.

I hear you . The constitution is supreme and above all. No sentiment, no emotions.

Desperate times call for desperate measures.

If we are tired of Tinubu, the only way out is through Atiku. It is very obvious. Sorry to say, obi is wasting his time and ruining our collective destiny. At the rate we are going under APC there will be nothing left to "rotate established pattern of Nigeria’s political system "

He will not win!

Nigerians will not vote Atiku even if he wins ADC primary. He is going to steal Nigeria and sell it off

Hemanwel:
Even though I am 100% Obidient,...

Let me use this opportunity to advise Mr Peter Obi and fellow Obidients like me as we approach the 2027 elections.

To Obidients: Let's stop this naive radical approach of supporting our man, Peter Obi. Let's drop this idea of "Obi is qualified to be President or is a presidential material; hence, he can't be deputy to anybody", "2027 is Peter Obi or nothing", " Obidient Movement is bigger than Peter Obi", etc. Politics doesn't work that way!

Remember, despite late President Buhari's cult-like followership in the north, coupled with his virtue of integrity, he still had to align with the 'powers that be' before he could become the president, after three failed attempts. We all know that Peter Obi won the last general elections but was rigged out. This is what will continue to happen, unless he forms a coalition with other political heavyweights. He certainly cannot do it all by himself. This is Nigeria. Our democratic ideals hasn't gotten there yet.

Again, in 2013, when the APC was formed, the current president, Tinubu, temporarily shelved his ambition for late Buhari (someone he knew could get the northern bloc votes) to pave the way for his turn - which he is enjoying today. If he had insisted on contesting the 2015 elections, he probably would have lost, and might not have been president today

Let's also remember that Peter Obi is the leader of the Obidient Movement, therefore, we - as followers - are to follow him to wherever he goes. We are to listen to him. We are not to decide for him. He is the politician and he sure knows what's good for him. If being in the coalition party and deputizing Atiku is the platform/vehicle in which he could achieve his ambition of becoming president someday, so be it!

To Peter Obi: I will advice that you learn from late President Buhari for his decision to align with the 'powers that be' in 2013. Learn from Tinubu who temporarily had to sacrifice his ambition for Buhari.

I believe the Atiku/Obi ticket is the only ticket that can remove Tinubu in 2027. It's also the same ticket that can make Obi realize his ambition of becoming president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria!
Nice words but the truth is Tinubu controls the Obidients movement and the Obidients control Obi.
That is why Obi cannot cede his ambition and become a running mate, he is scared of offending those that control the Obidients.
Even ur words shows that u prefer the coalition more than u prefer Obi presidency, and Obi knows this, so he is scared of losing people like you.

Obi no feel beat Ameachi for presendital primaries remember Ameach came second to tinunbu. Even beat vp osinbanjo

Obi himself is yet to test real presidential primaries. LP just gave him ticket but Ameachi came second contesting with big weight at APC primaries so even if Atiku no contest he no still sure say obi go get that ticket
One thing is to dash one ticket and another is to prove his worth and obi had done that, gallantly even without much effort. He didn't bribe to win, no structure, no godfather, rather he was backed by the masses who contributed for him. Same will happen in 2027. Amaechi was in the APC when he came 2nd at the primaries. This is ADC. The coalition backs obi/elrufai more than amaechi. Ahead of 2023, nobody knew the obi's worth until he left the pdp at the 11h hour for labour and garnered over 6m votes. This time, It won't be about who has more money to bribe but who can actually pull the crowd and win election. Amaechi can't win more than rivers where he had strong base, unlike obi who has bases everywhere. Don't forget, the primary will be about who can defeat tinubu and that combo will do a perfect job. He will win many APC states in the south as some governors have defected due to their selfish ambition. Atiku will not win cos south must complete 8 years. He's most likely going to step down for obi, whom he can really trust. Age isn't on his side as well. His term has passed

Weather obi won the 2023 elections but was slapped by tinubu and APC is an issue we'll leave in the hands of God. Amaechi is a feather weight in the Nigerian politics today.

Lga listen to me if they zone ot to south it will be contested by Southern poclitians u think ADC is Lp were they will give u the ticket on a platter of gold remember Ameachi is a former governor and minister here we not talking about who is more popular with the masses the Adc ticket won't be given to obi on a platter of gold he and Ameachi has to battle for it when it comes to primAries is about the delegates the delegates are all expecting to get something in their pockets which we all kw Ameachi can offer unless Atiku want to run the show for obi. Primaries is a different game entirely the best man are not always pick. When it comes to popularity kwakwanso is more popular than atiku among the masses but kwankwaso can't stand atiku in primaries

It is getting interesting!.
Firstly,I am sure that even Obi cannot control the Obidients. They have the mind of their own. The moment Atiku insist on contesting, Obi will step out and contest on another platform.
Back to square one: Divided votes
Secondly, it's wrong for anyone to assume Obi will clear the kind of vote he garnered in 2023.

The Power of incumbency is against him now.
APC is not sleeping on their hoars too in the East.
