charlesemeka85:And how exactly is Osimhen sitting out the rest of his contract going to help him and the Super Eagles... Osimhen will be down mentally and physically if he does that... we have crucial world cup qualifiers and even Afcon were we will need Osimhen at his best and you are suggesting he sit out his contract.... are you guys even super eagles fans at all because it seems you guys care more about what these players achieve with European teams than the super eagles |

charlesemeka85:Osimhen shouldn't have signed that new contract, The increase of his wages would have been negotiated and done with the new club of his choice, a club like PSG would have paid him even more than $12m. Any of Chelsea,Arsenal and Chelsea would have accepted to pay between $9-12 then without drama. |

DeloitteNG:Galatasaray is not the only club interested in Osimhen in Europe. The problem is paying 75m to Napoli and also paying Osimhen 12m in his wages, if the release clause or wages is reduced, top clubs would have signed him. The market is not just fair, some players are valued less than what they are worth while some are over valued more than what they actually worth. |

Napoleon55:From transfer news it is man utd and Galatasaray... and Osimhen doesn't want to reduce his wages for man utd... so which other clubs are you talking about? |

robosky02:This is silly talk from Buchi as usual Everyone knows that if you want to pay a release clause in installments, you have to make concessions. Either pay more than the clause or agree to the seller's demands. A release clause is not activated yet until paid in full. |

realpoacher:The sell on clause is a recent development. Osimhen has already agreed with Galatasaray on his wages based on the report. My stance on reduced wages is devoid of that development. |

TheLoneCitizen:You can see from the post "Ekiteki very high on the list" Liverpool are ready to drop 120m for Isak So if they were serious with Osimhen his wages and transfer fee wouldn't be an issue I made that post because of the people hammering on reduce your wages and join liverpool |

So Cunha will earn 9M at man utd but Osimhen should cut half of his current salary to join them ![]() |

DeloitteNG:I think it's time we stop with this me against the world narrative. Brother, nobody hates you. Cunha went from 90k a week to 180k a week. Wirtz is 195k per week Gyökeres is 130k per week This is the new landscape for clubs now. Osimhen currently is requesting £9m net That's over 300k. United will gladly offer that same 9m they offered Cunha to Osimhen. Will he collect? |

Samueltemi337:You're saying the same thing. Sign Isak for 120m Increase his wage from 120k a week to 200k. Give him 5 year contract. Total expenditure 170m. Pros: A 200k a week salary not too hard to sell. More ceiling for wage increase. League proven No mid-season AFCON Osimhen 65m (pounds) Wages: 18m Total expenditure over 5 years: 155m Cons: Opposite of Isak's pros This determines the interest. |

New contacts have taken place in the last 24/48 hours between Atlético de Madrid and Ademola Lookman! 🇳🇬🔥 He is highly appreciated by the club and by Diego Simeone, who are pushing for his signing. Inter Milan showing interest too |

charlesemeka85:Exactly the point most people are not seeing, Napoli want to punish Osimhen for rejecting the Saudi deal, and are just in to frustrate his transfer to any other club outside their choice. Osimhen's wage demand is the least of the problem here. |

zicky:that’s just it. The plan have always been to sell to the Saudis where they stand to gain more from the sale Many here are just emotional and doesn’t want to accept the fact that Osimhen is the architect of his problem and predicaments. That big money contract renewal was a big trap which the player and his advisers willingly fell for Napoli invested around 70m in signing him from Lille as well as upgraded his earnings massively after 2 seasons with them and you are sitting in you house expecting them not to recoup and make profit from their investment? Even if Osimhen accept to cut down his demands to 150k-180k weekly just to force a move to one of the top clubs in europe will the interested club be willing to pay what ADL wants? Osimhen must go Saudi whether him like am or not 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 |

Samueltemi337:Exactly. Look at Arsenal telling Palace that they would pay above Eze's release clause in exchange for favourable payment methods. It's why Chelsea pay higher but sign players on long contract. So they can spread it over 7 years. |

BankyGee:It is easy to sign players on small wages and offer them X3, X4. What was Gyokeres earning at Sporting before? He agreed to earn 130k a week at Arsenal because he was on small wages. Look at Wirtz, Liverpool signed him for £130m but his wages is 195k that’s because he was earning small at his old club. Why do you think Man U have difficulty selling players like Rashford 300k weekly and Sancho 250k weekly? It’s because of their expensive wages. Bayern and Barca are after 29years old Luis Diaz because of his small wages instead of Rashford. The two clubs are interested in Rashford but that huge salary is the problem. You think Osimhen would still be in this wahala if he was earning 100-150k weekly at Napoli? See Liverpool ready to splash 120m on Isak because his wages at Newcastle is just 120k. They can easily sign him and offer a better deal. |

And then there's Haaland, 259 goals in 329 games.

Lol, E be like say we go all learn intricacies of transfer football financial dealings by force. One thing is clear Osimhen didn't have the shrewdest and most prudent team advising him. Buchi who I thought was a bit measured don pour gallon of sand sand into the matter. Papi85: |

Given the recent news involving Napoli and Galatsaray, I think it's safe to conclude that the biggest issue here is not necessarily Osimhen's demands, nor the reluctance of English or Spanish teams to bid for him -- even though arguments could be made about both. The biggest issue I can see here is the devilish obstinacy, greed and wickedness of Di Laurentis. In a fair and just world, there should be FFP FIFA regulations to put an end to the kind of nonsense Napoli is doing, but oh well... Osimhen's drama with Napoli should definitely be a cautionary tale for all upcoming stars and their agents. |
