FreeIgboho:Are you a marketer? Otherwise you are being naive, your concern s a consumer should be lower prices...don't be too smart to your own detriment. Focus on your interest, your interest as a consumer is lower prices, over sabi half wise, so you don't know Dangote produces locally, this will also boost our naira, due to reduced dependent on foreign exchange to buy imported gas...all these paid saboteurs, una plan no go work. |

SmartPolician:Gbam. How do the marketers think Nigeria can survive on imported energy, especially when we have oil and gas in abundance. |

Adesina18111:I'm not defending these middlemen but... These men take massive loans from banks and other sources to run their businesses Throw in expenses and taxes then you'll see that the "profit" is quite marginal On the monopoly thing by Dangote i definitely agree with them He should seek collaboration because eventually if he has his way.... Ibeto and Co can explain better ![]() |

I have said it before, and I will say it again. Our problem in this country lies mostly in the common man on the streets taking advantage of his fellow country man in making excessive profits in his trade. Abeg make una free Tinubu joor |

erniok:I read the Report Sir, Dangote still get from LNG and if you believe that Dangote production of about 2,000 Tonnes daily can upset the Apple cart then.... . 2,000 Tonnes and they are crying? Really? |

All these media abracadabra to fo-ol the people. Everything should not be propaganda.. Where is the decrease? This is the new method since some weeks now. Keep announcing narginal increases and decreases in pump prices and then blame everyone else but yourself? I thought they said the price will keep going down as he sources for crude locally? So why are they stuck at almost 1000 a liter since inception of this ubiquitous refinery? They are trying to deflect and to misinform. No honesty in all these. We were also told that as the refinery starts full operations, the naira will firm up as the pressure on forex declines. That is not happening.. This is why I keep saying that the Lagos press is highly corrupt. How can you be selling a product for 1000 naira, and br claiming a decrease in price, when that ssme product once sold for 200 naira few months back? They're just playing with the lives of ordinary Nigerians.. |

FreeIgboho:you must be one of those marketers otherwise you'd have understood that crashing the price is for the greater good and not just for the benefit of a minority who want to keep on making huge profit |

Lukuluku69:He never said anything about getting LPG from NLNG. Why would he do that when he has no service station to sell? He only said he producrs 2k tonnes daily and has started ramping up production to engage the marketers |

“There are people who have spent money, spent resources, even business and development, and someone just comes in to reap from the work that has been done. I’m sure he wouldn’t have built if there had not been an existing market. The work has been done, he should respect the market and let us grow. It shouldn’t be a zero-sum strategy. It should be collaborative,” he said. All these "turanchi" na grammar. Na exorbitant prices dem take develop market? People switched from kerosene to gas simply because of price. When subsidy was removed, kerosene began to sell over N1000 per litre, while gas was selling at N300 per kg. What does he mean by collaboration rather than competition. Did he and his association approach Dangote as distributor and he refused? I had thought the market economy is about competition aka demand and supply. What is he advocating for is an oligarchy. |

For me i like what Dangote is doing, its the only way to drive the country out of hardship. I know along the line he will monopolise the whole thing |

FreeIgboho:Which arrant nonsense are you saying. So he should allow greedy marketers to continue to exploit the masses. They are the major problem of the country. |

Dangote for president 2027. Tinibulation is too much on the land |

erniok:These people should not force dangote to go into distribution. If they do then they are all finished. Why not simply negotiate with dangote to act as distributor to his products. Without government help the Nigerian petroleum marketers can never compete with dangote. Locally produced oil and gas will always be cheaper than imported ones. |

omoredia:None has Said it Better The rate at which Marketers and Retailers are making life Unbearablyvdifficult for the masses is scary And stupid gullible suffering Nigerians will still go out of their way to support their wickedness it's alarming |

chibuikejohn:No one is stopping the marketers from building refineries, after all the government issued out more than 10 refinery licences and non has built a functional refinery. |

erniok:Read the Report again Sir. How can someone who produces 2,000 Tonnes of any Product be a Threat to someone that grew Cooking Gas business from 70,000 Tonnes to over 1,000,000? Think it thru. Does Dangote have the capacity to do 1,000,000 Tonnes of Cooking Gas from his Refinery? I think not. They are only being proactive by Preemptive Crying. They know Dangote is about to enter the Market and they know what that means. Only NLNG can do 1,000,000 Tonnes of Cooking Gas to take care of the Nigerian Market unless Dangote have an Import Licence for importation. This is just a Preemptive move from the Marketers and Dangote saying the Prices at the Consumption end are low is a way to enter the Market too. It is a Game. I want them to play it so that Prices will come down. Mind you I am not on anyone side but the side if the Consumers. Let the Price come down. |

Taich:One person can't defeat Dangote, but one individual trying to defeat Dangote is just suicidal, Dangote still has some companies financing his business, if other individuals can also come together rather than working in isolation they can as well go for price for price with Dangote rather than lamenting about other people's pricing policy |

Taich:Ibeto was never a big player that Dangote will have a court case with. Stop the lies. Why did he not restart Ibeto cement under Jonathan. You people always cry when you can't compete but praise yourself when you gain upper hand. When Dangote started his vehicle assembly, you guys start cry that he want to drive innoson out of business. How many nnewi indigene are driving his brand compare to foriegn ones. Dangote no get mate for Nigeria when he comes to business acumen. He pays the highest tax and among the highest employer of labour. The likes of authur Eze were given refinery licences but they prefer importing fuel with so much padding to make free money. Dangote came to the rescue now, when he move to power sector, criminals like you will say he want to monopolize it. The day he move into it, nigerians will withnessed so much power improvement. Steel sector is currently comatose and nobody is brave enough to enter but when Dangote enter and start getting result, ogbanjes will start crying again. Dangote is a pride of Nigeria and Africa |

Lukuluku69:I'm responding to you based solely on the report sir. How he wants to engage them is known only to him. Whether he'll import, get from NLNG or ramp up production to give them a run for their money is his business. |
