helinues:It's an insult to declare a parallel kingdom over another man's territory. This is what is referred to as usurpation. Wether ceremonial or dress up , you don't declare yourself a king in a foreign land . And to think these are the same people who hold little or no regards for their own British created District chiefs who turned themselves to kings after the civil war. Well, you can't blame them. In every self declared kingdom in their SE , there is always a parallel kingdom within it which will later transform to the aberration called "Autonomous Kingdom". They don't have one iota of respect for their own adopted kings is it those in foreign lands they will respect ? What they claim is cultural and symbolic , is actually just their lack of respect for even their own adopted and borrowed customs. You can take a monkey from the jungle but you can never take the jungle out of it. |

Difrent:This is just a case of terrible upbringing and zero respect of their own cultures and traditions. A place where within every fake kingdom that only came into existence through the British created District Chief positions which will later transform to the fake kings they have littered every 5km distance and to which within said fake kingdoms you have factions and breakaway kingdoms commonly referred to as Autonomous kingdoms ? How do you think the product of such society will have any respect for kings of foreign lands when in their own communities in the SE they do not have any regard for their own kings ? A place where anyone with spare change can declare himself king over his hamlet and from there break out from the so-called kingdom and form his own Autonomous kingdom? What you are seeing happening with all these their Eze nonsense is exporting of their own unruly and crass behaviour . |

Difrent:When we told you in South Africa that this nasty attitude your people exported here will get you in trouble in many other African countries, I'm sure it was rubbished as " xenophobic " talk. Now,how many countries in just Africa have expressed their disdain for Nigerian immigrants? Not long ago they were dealt with in Kenya after calling Kenyan men lazy drunkards and all sorts of names . It wasn't long after, they were chained in Benin Republic for causing mayhem. And it's always the same Nigerian people with that look and name with chuku, chiki ,chichi or whatever that seem to be the ring leaders .....but we will sit here and watch ![]() |

DomPerignon:Funny enough, they always claim that they don't bow to any king. But what they really mean when they say that is they don't recognize any king not from their clan. I served in Imo state In my community alone, they have 3 Ezes |

Lioness5280:That individual you quoted is just a bitter soul and tribalist who is clearly on a smear campaign against the Igbo tribe. Like I said before, every tribe in Nigeria usually have their representatives and cultural leaders when they live outside their tribes. Yorubas in the southeast have their own leaders, likewise Hausas have their Sarikin Hausa even hear in Enugu Nigeria. Though I don't know the extent to which the man in question went but I'm just trying to point out to you that it is not out of place for Igbos to have Eze Ndi Igbos in other Nigerian states or outside Nigeria. Even in western countries, they have these leaders. |
