Hi guys, I keep finding water at the footrest of both front seats of my Rav 4 2004, it happens when it rains. Any idea where the water might be coming from?

Check the sun roof funnel, drainage and gutter. It may be blocked. You need to have it cleared of any blockage.

2003 honda pilot: the alternator has 2 bolts connected to it. The down one (size 14), which goes into the engine block has damaged, after constant breaking of bolt and drilling the bolts out.

The last one happened yesterday and now, the part to tight it in on the engine is gone. They suggest I change the engine. Gambling to get only the engine block was not advised according to them.

What do you think?

You don't need to change the engine just yet, something can be done to repair that broken alternator holder.

Look for an Agbede to inspect it for you. Those agbede that can rethread a worn-out bolt threading hole. If he can do it, the worst is to bring out the engine so that he can d a good job.

Snap the defective part let's see

Have you heard of heli coil? I guess the thread is what was rounded off. If its that get a helicoil meant for that bolt size and fix it in and lock up your bolt if it's still good

The driller couldn't come today but tomorrow. Another spot near the damaged part will be drilled open. According to the mechanic, a longer belt than the initial one will be installed due to the new position.
I pray it works 🙏

So far, the alternator has been reinstalled.
It was discovered that its original position was also blocked with a broken bolt. An improvise was made and it wasn't done well, it was inclined. And it kept breaking.

Now everything has been arranged. Hoping for the best.

I’m In Opic estate which is like 10-15mins away from Berger.
How did you ascertain that the cylinder 6 injector was pouring fuel from the injectors. Is it through fuel trims data or there was still a misfire code for cylinder 6
Secondly, are you sure of the blue smoke cause with the car running rich you’ll most likely get black smoke from the exhaust.
Is the car check engine light still on
Lastly, was there any signs of smoke from the exhaust prior to the fix

What model and year of VW were you looking for?

Can anyone recommend a mechanic who is very good with suspension? My mechanic told me to change my shocks, linkage, steering rack, hub, etc, but my car still squeaks and makes noise when I drive. My car model is ES350 Lexus; all the mechanics I have called just do a guessing work, a trial-and-error approach. I want a mechanic with technical skills and experience who resides between Ogba, Berger, Omole, Agege, Akute, and their environs.
