Please house. I am helping to apply for my brother who has been a frequent flyer to the UK. He has never applied to schenghen before. The appointment in Lagos has reached middle of September but he has to be in Netherlands on the 5th September. There are two option for tourist visa - 1. PRIMO (first time applicant to Schengen) and 2. Someone who has been issued either schenghen or UK, US and Canada visa. He is qualified for both 1 and 2. Which one should he select. We are hoping that choosing 2 might give him earlier appointments date. Your opinion please. |

Hi, Your business as the employer is correct. You need to estimate the cost of your trip side by the side with the funds before you can answer if the amount is sufficient. All the best with your application! onile1975: |

I just got my visa today. First timer. One month validity Submission: July 10th TLS pick up notification: July 16th I was really surprised with how fast it was! I have valid UK, Canada, and US visas, so that probably helped. I've only visited the UK once (last year) though. Other visas are unused. |

Marcgrace:@ Marcgrace thanks again The balance in my personal account will be 4.5 millions naira, is this amount okay for 7days tourist visit? Looking at my account balance, like how many euro do think is okay for 7days hotel booking? Base on your estimate that means I should booked hotel of 460euros for 7days, 460/7 =€65.71/ day,is that correct? |

Alexie89:I think you can use your France Visa to transit through Germany since you wont be leaving the airport area but ultimately put a phone call to lufthansa Customer service and they will give you te LATEST imformation and what you need. See below what Chat gpt said: I am a Nigerian citizen living in Nigeria, I have a visa to Mexico and I have a Schengen visa to France, can I use that Franch visa as transit through Germany since I am flying Lufthans? Yes, you can generally use your **Schengen visa issued by France** to transit through **Germany**, especially since you're flying with Lufthansa and your visa is valid for the travel dates. Here’s why: ### ✈️ Schengen Visa Transit Rules - **Germany and France are both Schengen countries**, so your visa allows you to move within the Schengen Area—including airport transit. - If you’re **not leaving the international transit zone** of the German airport, you typically don’t need an additional visa. - Since your visa is **valid and issued by a Schengen country**, and you're flying Lufthansa (a German airline), you're covered for transit. ### ✅ Important Notes - Make sure your **Schengen visa is still valid** on the day of transit. - If your flight requires you to **exit the transit zone** (e.g., recheck luggage or change terminals), you may technically be entering Germany—your visa should allow for that. - Always check with **Lufthansa or the German embassy** for last-minute changes or specific requirements. |
