There was a deal here that I suspected happened between Otudeko and Otedola.

I suspect Otudeko was told to release some FirstCo shares for sales to offset the debt he owned the bank and Femi offered to buy it and channel back the fund to FirstCo to repay Otudeko debt at the bank with the intention to drop the court case on Otudeko.
Make the share price rise and also do bonus or right issue.

I love Otedola's business mindset. His experience with bad debts that leads to him selling his, Zenon oil eventually gave birth to a ruthless investor.
Since his takeover of FBNHolco, he has been aggressive towards the chronic debtors that almost grounded the Company.
I'm proud to be a shareholder.
As in eeeh..Na human being they make fellow human get stone heart.

He learnt the good way in his case..He is becoming a brutal investor and I know he has a beef unsettled with Tony Elumelu. I believe it may get to a point the competition will be obvious.

He's not Self-made though. Hope you're aware of that. Unlike Jim Ovia and Elumelu.
Keep your comparison to your pocket. He's a billionaire and there's nothing you or your ilks can do about it.

An amount that is totally useless to him at this stage of his life. Sometimes, one wonders the essence of accumulating so much money.

I have subscribed to the school of taught that aspire to spend all their cash money before they die. Bill Gates is our chairman. Don't leave shishi in the bank.
I agree with this. Build, save, invest and CHOP as well. Next of kin should continue with what they see, but CHOP yours to the fullest. What's an octogenarian going to do with more than a quarter of a trillion naira?

P.S. The chop also includes philanthropy.

If you don't buy First bank now at 35 you will still beg to buy at 65 before sept. The only thing they need to do is to pay good dividend twice a year like their mates and the share price will fly.

It's so easy to make money if you already have money. If you invested 100m in first bank 3 weeks ago at 25 today at 35 you have already made 40m grin

Femi Otedola is a self made man from his hustling days on the streets of mainland Eko in the 1980’s & 1990’s, way b4 his papa NRC man became mistake governor of Lagos State because of the SDP fight between Dapo Sarumi & Agbalajobi of which will be the governorship candidate.

Chairmen that know, We know.
