OkayDaddy: “Interestingly, SABMiller comes a distant sixth position behind Fidelity bank Plc with a gross tax payment of N656.5 million in two years (2023 and 2024). In this sense, the claim can be dismissed with a wave of hand as the company in question contributed on the average, N28 million per month in 2023 and N26.62 million per month in 2024,” the agency said.based on the above, kindly solve the following arithmetic. 1. if you multiply 26m and 28m paid by SABMiller by 12months respectively, what will you get? 2. if you divide 656m paid by fidelity bank by 2years, what will you get? It's indeed amazing how quick it is to black list our very own. The same brewery that Soludo claimed is zero to nothing abi, and the brewery is standing against banks |

CyracksMrBlogger:Guy dey calm down... You should be asking yourself why Obi's political opponents are always desperate to make it appear like Obi is wrong...but they end up exposing their own follies. Can't you see here that the Brewery is said to be generating 28 million monthly? Multiply that by 12 months in a year;(i.e N336million a year) Then multiply again by two years(2023&2024)... ...almost N700million. Now compare that with the about N600million their "highest" payer(Fidelity Bank) generated in the same two years!! Even though the Bank is equally Obi's bank. So always remember that in Politics, darkness will always want to swallow light! |

Peter Obi is not the owner of Fidelity Bank. His era with them is gone. He might have some shares there but he is certainly not the owner nor the highest shareholder. Get your facts right. [Oga, Peter Obi was the chairman of Fidelity Bank until he became governor and had to relinquish the position for governance.] |

That impulsive need to say "the highest tax payers" instead of saying "among the highest tax payers" simply to make it sound all sweet and endearing. Why always trying to sound perfect but ending up hurting the truth? Na wa o. ![]() |

ayoncox:what is ₦328,000,000 per year? “Interestingly, SABMiller comes a distant sixth position behind Fidelity bank Plc with a gross tax payment of N656.5 million in two years (2023 and 2024). agentNija:Why will Soludo hate him when he is far better. Education wise they are not match and performance, Soludo has prove to be better governor. Till today, nigerians are still grateful to Soludo for saving their money in banks who were at the edge of collapsing through his consolidation. |

Even if it's a 'distant' 6th, how many ex governors have a have an existing productive venture in that state? Anambra, Rivers, Imo, Delta and Lagos States are states set up to decorate the pockets of individuals (political juggernauts and kingmakers). Sadly, like David Hundeyin said, Nigerians are most likely to set fire on an administration that favours them the most like GEJ's administration. |

This rebuttal is quite mischievous. Imagine the 1st contributed 656 million in 2023 and 2024 while sabmiller 28 & 26.62 millions monthly in 2023 & 2024. Do the maths and see that the values are about the same. 2nd to 5th are not even mentioned. It's quite unfortunate with Nigerian politicians. |
