I know u wish your children or even one of your family member to be a footballer. Again The company produces malt and other soft drinks if u aint a fan of Alcohol. So what is the issue? Or it didn't come from your favourite abi or u lack basic education |

A man blatantly lies on TV and just see folks supporting him, trying to "readjust" his statement. Its such a shame. By the way, kudos to Anambra SG for improvement in tax/revenue generation. |

Reflect7:Yes he said it was the biggest, he might have been wrong there, he should have said one of the biggest. But the interesting thing here is that those who are checking on what Obi said are the same people who have been insulting him over this Brewery, calling it worthless, saying all manner of negative things against the business And yet today that Brewery is the 6th biggest source of Internally generated revenue |

lexy2014:meanwhile it's obvious that Ananmbr has a lot to do because there are States like Ogun, Kwara, not to talk of Lagos and Rivers that have companies remitting more than 2 to 5 billion naira as tax |

ayoncox:off point. that is not what I asked you. ayoncox:what is ₦328,000,000 per year? “Interestingly, SABMiller comes a distant sixth position behind Fidelity bank Plc with a gross tax payment of N656.5 million in two years (2023 and 2024). In this sense, the claim can be dismissed with a wave of hand as the company in question contributed on the average, N28 million per month in 2023 and N26.62 million per month in 2024,” the agency said.Based on the above, help me do the following arithmetic: 1. if you multiply 26m and 28m by 12months respectively, what will you get? 2. also, if you divide 656m paid by fidelity bank by 2years, what will you get? |

Penguin2:No, i don't know the future. Besides, all projects are not the same. The point is that the money used to build the Fun city is less than 10% of the money used to build the brewery. |

| Re: Sabmiller Breweries Not Highest Tax Payer – Anambra Debunks Obi’s Claim by Image123(m): 5:38pm On Jul 18, 2025 |
Penguin2:That was the first thing i mentioned to you. Do some thinking please, this is too lazy. Fun City is 100% state owned at $1.6 million. Anambra State has 10% equity in Sabmiller for $2 million. Fun City barely opened 2 weeks ago. |

Penguin2:i don't think you know what you are saying. Instead of jumping from pillar to post and time traveling to come up with something at last, why not focus on the fact that Sabmiller is not an indigenous company, doesn't have its headquarters in Anambra, and is not the highest revenue or tax generating company in Anambra. Plus it costs times 10 of the new Fun City and they are not in the same line of business. |
