Mr man food is culture and as the saying goes "one mans food is another man's poison" you cannot say the food from your culture is the best because it can taste horrible to another person.
Na una start this unnecessary talk about Amala and ewedu not being a good food all because of hate and politics.
I am Yoruba and there is no food I don't eat as long as it tastes good: Igbo food, Calabar food etc I dey eat.
I don't even know what the cloth someone is wearing has to do with the food he is eating. A lot of weird comments from people.

This is an American eating our delicious amala with gbegiri and ewedu (abula) with ogufe the traditional way (with her bare hands). Lately I've been seeing some of our gen-z children eating amala with spoon! Where they got that from, I don't understand.

May be na aso oke he for where go there, Lace, ankara , George or Isiagu! Because na traditional wedding he dey go. You can give proper advice.

I have already explained myself that food is culture that is why they say "one mans food is another man's poison" but you cannot comprehend or see that because you are not following the thread properly.
How do know that I don't travel? 28 years of my life was in SE and SS, I schooled in the North (there is no Nigerian food that I don't eat or love as long as it tastes good) now I live in a different and diverse country with lots of different food from different cultures. You people will come online a faceless forum to advise people that you don't know. You think everybody here is gen z or a spring chicken?

Amala is now the favorite food at parties. People would rather have it than anything else.

A friend is having a party in Kaduna, and I was shocked to find out that Amala is on the menu. These are mostly Northerners with a bit of Yoruba in their heritage. She told me that everyone is now eating Amala. I was surprised.

They call ewedu hydrolic soup. Some of them (not all) feel everything about Igbos are the best and everything about other tribes are shitty...that's a shitty way of thinking.

The Amala is so soft and their stew out of this world ,but if your pocket is not friendly don't go ooo...
