You're not getting it.
If Barça exercise that buy option, Rashford will demand a severance package because it's the club forcing him out not the other way.

Then Barca will offer him a salary of their choice.

Because he has already gotten the full worth or a chunk of his United contract in that deal, you can't call it a pay cut.
which severance is package? Are you the agent that negotiated that? Where is it done? Players get sold everytime Rashford is not the first to be binned from his old club. If Barca wants him he will be sold to Barca at 35m or so and new salary would be agreed with Barca. Man U no go pay him anything again

grin the guy just proved that Osimhen's wage is very normal
Understand Marcus Rashford has taken a salary cut to join Barcelona. He will be paid around €10m-gross, including bonuses. The concession allows Barcelona to now pay 100% of his wage.🔵🔴 (@JacobsBen)

€10m is around £8m. He earns £18m at United and took a pay cut to now earn £8.5m(€10m) gross at Barcelona. Atleast nobody de shout racism again since Rashford na black man. This scenario is similar to Osimhen’s issue. Frozen out of his present team like Rashford both players on huge salary. One is ready to take pay cut to play at one of the biggest clubs in the world and see if he can revive his career and get into England World Cup team. Our biggest star in world football is being encouraged to give up on making a legacy for himself and go to Turkey to compete against Arunanaspor, kwashiorkor fc cry cry cry

Mybettingtips:
around 230k at Barca.
It is not similar. Rashford wages at Man U was astronomical, top 10% of the game. His wage at Barca is the more reasonable figure (I'm a Man I fan) and in fact it buttresses the point of how a sensible club should compensate talent.

Any club that see 200-250k as too much, has no business with legacy. No let them pack your stew.

Chelsea actually offered Osimhen €4m, with agreement to double it if they can secure champions league spot. From €12m he was earning at Napoli to €4m was a big cut..

The yearly Gothia Youth cup is currently going on in Sweden

Three Nigerian teams won their finals yesterday
3 trophies for Nigeria teams

Beyond limits (remo stars academy) won asec memosas of Cameron on penalties
Sporting Supreme won 4-0 against a Sweden team
Nigeria eagles won 3-0 against against an American team

Is this Nigerian eagle affiliated to the NFF abii na just another private owned academy

Saw a Nigerian in one of the comments complaining that the Nigerian boys are over aged

There was about 5-7 Nigerian teams competing

Rashford has been a breakout star since he was 16 years old. We knew the potential were there but he never fully hit the peak. He is leaving when he is not shining, if he was shining there will be complain. But hey, here is a win-win for both parties.

The fact that an "Ekitike" is moving for 95 millions Euros but no top club is willing to pay 75 million for a more established Osimhen is really baffling.

Whether we are being patriotic or not, we know Galatasaray isn't the best move for the monster.

Hopefully, e gets a better move Next summer

Really its absurd. Osumhen is even cheaper and more experienced. Maybe they deceived him with love from the fans in galatasaray. Or he did not want to lower his salary. I don't understand osimhen. He may spend the rest of hisnactive career in galatasaray l. They will use love to capture him. After six years in galatasaray it is saudi at the age of 31. Osimhen has forgotten his dreams of greatness. It has left his brain

Wilfred Ndidi still expected to leave Leicester City this summer. Leverkusen are the latest club to enquire.

Manchester United have held talks, and even discussed terms, on the player side, but finding a No.9 is the next priority. Adding another midfielder may require an outgoing first in that area.

Everton, and two other EPL sides have made approaches.

Real Betis, Juventus and Saudi clubs have also discussed Ndidi, who has a £9m relegation release clause.🇳🇬

@BenJacobs
Wait do these clubs have scouts who actively watch the player or do they just throw money because he was once good

It’s easier to sign Ekitike because of his small salary at Frankfurt. He’s earning 60k weekly at Frankfurt. They can easily sign him and offer him bigger wages at Liverpool

Wirtz was earning £76k weekly at Leverkusen but Liverpool poured €130m on him.

Same with Gyokeres, he’s earning 40k weekly at Sporting. Arsenal can sign him with big money and offer him bigger wage.

Osimhen’s case is different. Napoli want 75m and Osimhen wants 300-400k. How many clubs can match this easily when they can sign other players around 50-100k and offer them new wages of 150-250k?

BREAKING:

Ruben Amorim and Sporting on the verge of a deal for Viktor Gyokeres.

Manchester United made a supersonic approach to Sporting CP and presented figures slightly above those negotiated with Arsenal - between €70M & €80M. #MUFC [@abolapt]

If you do a comparative analysis of a total cost across six years, I don't think Osimhen at his current wage will cost more than Ekitike.

Ruben Amorim's Red Devils are negotiating within the values demanded by Sporting, but United is not in the player's plans
