Unfortunately, that is the sad reality of the SE and Igbos today.

Not long ago I was discussing with a security personnel from the SE, he told with pain how he can't go home, even if he does he doesn't go to his home town, stay briefly in the capital, disguising all thru and then after just few days "run out" of his own state. He prefers family come visit him in Abuja. I really felt for him.
