So I just changed my phone recently (finally 😮‍💨), and it got me thinking… what’s that amount that makes you go “Nah, I can’t pay that much for a phone abeg”?

We’re all different:

Some people just want a phone that works for calls, WhatsApp, small camera, and they’re good (our parents are in this category 😂).

Others must get the latest flagship with 200MP camera that can see the moon, AI everything, and enough RAM to run NASA, can charge in 5min 😭

Then there are the “spec” people “If it doesn’t have IP69 rating, armour shell protection and other features, I’m not buying, no matter the price!”

At the end of the day, budget differs. But I’m curious…What’s the MAX you’re willing to spend on a phone?
Is there a price tag that’s just too much, no matter the specs?

It depends on my budget tho but I'll love to see some particular features like sharp camera and good battery in a phone and also the storage size

That one depends on my earnings, salary and whatever, a sensible person will only buy what he or she can afford, like 'cutting your coat according to your size', abi how do they used to say that quotes. That will depend on how much worth of phone that one can afford to buy. Only insensible folks will buy phone way worth more than their earnings, some will even borrow loans to buy exorbitant phones, some will buy phone on credit, in the long run it would become a huge burden and debts on them

Excluding cases where one is specifically gifted such exorbitant phone or you win a lottery or jackpots

There are phones that are good and budget friendly. Cut your cost according to your size abeg.😂
Phones like tecno, redmi, realme and co comes with ease.

If you like it and you don't have the money you won't be able to get. Soo ... Getting a smartphone depends on your income not just your income but also your budget if you are a disciplined person

Well to me price won't be an issue for me so far as I will be able to get all what I seek in a device, tho I will still look for budgeted ones like the realme devices

If you can't afford to buy the same phone over again 3 months after your intended purchase date, it's likely too expensive for you to buy now.

What is quality when you have the realme C75X and C75? I believe your taste matters. And if course your finances affect your purchasing decisions

Except the specs I am looking for can't be found in budget phones, that when you see me spending a lot on luxury.
