You can apply for your spouse to live with you and they would get a Green Card or indefinite leave of residency
The route to citizenship is the same once you have a Green card etc

Well I do not agree with this approach of defending or attacking. I do not believe in sides just the facts.
I think Historically there were gender imbalances. Whether those have been addressed can be verified
We tend to take everything personal in Nigeria
She said what she believed in my opinion even though it was wrong . If she did not believe it then she would have been lying.
What she said can easily be fact checked and I expect she knows that so why lie knowing she would be contradicted?

She never mentioned Nigeria in that video in regards to discrimination against women, it’s Nigerians that are expanding the conversation out of scope. The politician in this discourse went for her target and she hit it cos she knows she has a huge base especially among Nigerians that will swallow whatever she spills out, true or false. Her parents went to the Uk to give birth to her, making her a British citizen and then took her back to Nigeria where she lived until she was 16 years old. Then she came back to the Uk and enjoyed the benefits of being a Uk citizen such as free education, free healthcare, and free college and university education. She was not an average citizen who was born and raised in the Uk. She and many others exploited a loophole and that law was changed to combat that exploitation. in Nigeria I don't think the man can ever be a citizen he only has a residency. Abroad there is a path to becoming a citizen for the man when married to a citizen.
