Yes it kills. A friend of mine lost his daughter few weeks ago to malaria.
In 2023, there were an estimated 597,000 malaria deaths globally.

I can relate. Malaria almost took my life few weeks ago.Very deadly tropical disease..

There's a different kind of malaria fever.. we're little lucky if you still live in Nigeria.. because most of the kind of Malaria that spread a certain kind of diseases/virus. I don't think it has settled fully in Nigeria unlike other part of the world like Brazil, Canada.

Malaria is being cause by mosquitoes. And the mosquitoes that carries dengue virus is probably the most dangerous amongst them all. Check yourself if you feel ill and don't relent o. Go received your treatment immediately

Some people think malaria doesn't kill whereas before discovery of antimalarial drugs, malaria was one of the main causes of death.

In this generation, malaria kills as a result of negligence and self medication without seeing a health care professional. People just enter quack "Chemist" stores and buy malaria drugs and some times they don't take the right medications at the right doses leading to drug resistance and complications. That's when some of them go to consult health professionals and in some cases it would have been too late. There are many cases of drug resistance due to the misuse of antimalarial drugs in Nigeria.

Many things give way for malaria to come to people's homes. You can't completely stop dem.
Just hold money for drugs anytime you fall sick or you find some things to be taking in your body, to prevent malaria fever. All those insecticide is just for a while.

Do you know that the too many clothes and stuffs or pile of books in your room are a hiding place for mosquitoes. So tell me, how do you want to solve dat, when a family of five usually stays in a one-room apartment!
