lbrichman2:It's like Atalanta wants to have a romance with relegation. Coach gone. Top striker gone. Star player on the brink of leaving. Nawa. Make lookman leave so I can relieve myself of watching Atlanta's games too. |

lovewins:ADL is very vindictive. If there wasn't money involved for them, they want to destroy VO's career. Why would they say he mustn't be sold to any Italian club within the next 2 years!!!!!!! How petty could they be? Hasn't the Lukaku playing for them not moved around in the Serie A? Anyway, Baba God pass dem. |

lbrichman2:Wetin concern us with Retegui. Osimhen is our own, we should be bothered about his career decisions not Retegui. We are bothered because it's very difficult to produce a talented player and mould him into a superstar status. The only one we managed to produce, in his prime,he decided to leave the top leagues where he should be competing with the best players to retirement and Hauser league according to our in-house critics. We are not ok,we just hope somehow he leaves Galatasaray within two years. |

AndSunGorilla:It's too petty, we have seen players play for Inter Milan and play for AC Milan, from AC Milan to Juventus. God pass am,Osimhen fit end up in Barcelona self. |

Napoleon55:Is osihmen the only talented Nigerian player we have now? Can't we shift our focus to other players? If Osihmen is your only talented player, then something is wrong somewhere but the fact that Nigeria has produced two APOTY back to back shows there are other players out there we should be looking at and monitor their transfers too, this obsession with Osihmen is becoming an overkill, make we rest small and ask where other players too are going. |

Goke7:You are missing the point. If you are OK for him going to Turkey, that's your choice, but some us are not and we should say it out. For clarification,we have produced many talented players and we also have some talented players presently, but Osimhen is our biggest player Since Okocha, Kanu and Mikel. Every thing that happens about him is bound to generate varies of opinions. Many of Osimhen's U17 mates were very talented, Nwakali was supposed to be the most talented, was his career mounded to Osimhen's level? How about Isaac Success? It's one thing to say we have talented players, and another thing to manage them to be among the best in the world. Osimhen is among the best in the world, he should be playing in a top league, that's the point. |

lbrichman2:What concerns me with Retegui? I am concerned about Osimhen because he is out own. Retegui is going for money. He is not pushing to become a legend. So I don't get your point. |

Napoleon55:The narrative that Osimhen chose not to stay in top leagues. With the abundance of information of the intricacies of what happened, people who peddle that simplistic narrative have an ulterior motive. Kudos to them. |

Napoleon55:Since osihmen has finally gone to where we don’t like can we all turn our attention to others and tell them too not to go to where we don’t like. Am surprised you mention mikel, the same mikel that was torn to shreds here? Despite staying in Chelsea forever many never saw him as a legend abi na legacy which again calls to question about insisting that one must be playing in top clubs to satisfy all of Una desires. Apart from PSG which many here don’t rate that highly am not sure of any other top club Okocha played in, for Kanu maybe so at the end all do all these big clubs names really matter especially when it’s not always in the power of these players? |

Goke7:Sir, Osimhen should be up there not Turkish league, but nothing can be done based on his contractual agreement between him and Napoli and all these brouhaha were due to contract extension which was avoidable going by the Napoli way of handling player transfers,Koulibaly a case study......as you said time to move on Pity, media buzz that would have surrounded Osimhen in any top 3 leagues would have skyrocketing his career profile, let's see what future holds for the Starboy. |

Kog45:Osimhen in a top 3 league in Europe stands the chance of winning the Apoty even more than twice as well as a good chance finishing top 3-5 in Ballon d’or nomination in the future if he maintains his form Osimhen is massively talented and too good to be rated along side the likes of Mbappe,Haaland and others in world football currently and this is the main reason his move to Turkey pierces my heart The golden jewel we ought to be boasting with in world football in this era choose Hausa/Fulani league instead 🤦♀️ |

The thing pain me too but he's made his choice. One of European football's elite forwards going to Turkey in his prime!? ![]() Only positive in this deal is that the reduced intensity of the Turkish league should leave him relatively fresh for national team duty. charlesemeka85: |

Osi Staying in Napoli, where he was mocked by the club's own official account and disrespected publicly by the president, would not have shown "strength." It would have shown him being compliant. A strong player walks away when his value is diminished, not because he's weak, but because he knows his worth. You talk about ambition. This is an ambitious move. He’s choosing joy, respect, and a team that believes in him. Mental peace matters. No player thrives in an environment that makes them question their worth. A toxic club stunts growth more than a change in league level ever could. Also, the Turkish league is still a top 10 league in Europe. We might mock our rivals, but they're still stiff competition. There's a lot of pressure to play for Galatasaray, which should help with his accountability as a player and I'm assuming a future captain for Nigeria. |

Contrary to popular opinion, i dont think His career is finished. Hopefully he will do great things with gala and then he might go to a top tier league team or stay and become GS legend. I was expecting him to go to Premiership but I am so happy that he chose gala. Career wise it might be seen a step down for the moment but hopefully in the long run it’s the best for Galatasaray and him. |
