While I'm not against the appointment of Ambassadors, maybe it's time to do a CBA( cost benefit analysis) of such appointments. What is the real opportunity cost. Esp when we look at past governments vs current status... what benefit did Nigeria really lose?

Today, Nigeria has no ambassadors anywhere in the world not even at the United Nations.

None. Zero. Zilch!

What kind of country deliberately silences its own voice on the global stage? What kind of leader watches it happen and does nothing?

Investors are watching. Foreign governments are confused. Nigerians abroad are suffering.
Meanwhile, Tinubu and his gang are too busy playing politics and sharing appointments like party favors.

Diplomatic missions are not decoration pieces. They are vital organs of a nation’s survival in a global economy and Tinubu has yanked the cord and left the country bleeding.

This has never happened before in Nigeria.
No country not even war-torn ones has ever gone this long completely voiceless in international diplomacy.

It’s not just an international embarrassment.
It’s a loud blinking sign that this administration is not fit to govern a WhatsApp group, let alone a country.

The mass recall of all ambassadors in 2023 without timely replacement is not just irresponsible,it’s reckless.

We’ve become invisible in global diplomacy while other nations strengthen ties, sign deals, and push their agenda.
That silence isn’t saving us money ,it’s costing us relevance.

instead of asking if we need ambassadors, maybe ask why a government that can fund to renovate buildings with billions, fund luxury convoys, bloated aides and endless political appointments suddenly “can’t afford” critical foreign representation.

Being applauded by Bretton Woods institutions, Wall Street pundits or Western powers isn't a badge of honor when the local economy is bleeding and citizens are dying of starvation. These are the same institutions that have praised every failed African reform since the 1980s.!
If your current diplomacy is so impactful, show us one deal signed in the last year that has improved the lives of ordinary Nigerians.

Deals don’t negotiate themselves. Global influence isn’t built on press statements or foreign praise, it’s built on strategic presence, boots on the ground. And that’s exactly why ambassadors matter.

There was no time I expected anything good from Tinubu led government. I am sorry to say this; he is mentally unstable. How can a man who is not sound both mentally and physically rule a nation like Nigeria successfully and maintain a good international policy?

The only focus of this government is how they can embezzle more funds and use it to come back to power in 2027. We need an aggressive opposition to unseat this government. Nigerians also have to stop selling their birthrights for a morsel of meal.

How can a President from day 1 remove subsidy without having a plan in place to cushion its effect? Your mouth shouldn't run faster than your brain. Look at the untold hardship millions of Nigerians are going through because of one man who doesn't have the capacity to think out a solution to rescue Nigeria out of the bad situation he met it. Rather, its ten times worse than he met it.
