Hello, everyone! Can someone please give me a step by step guide on the application process for a brazil tourist visa? I will like to give birth there. The attached post was made last year 2024. is it still applicable?

Yes the procedure is still pretty much same. Also there’s nothing wrong with using an agent, but you should know that there’s nothing special or additional the agent would do for you. They will still follow the same steps outlined, they have no influence on visa decisions. Unless one feels lazy to gather their documents and apply themselves, only then can they pay someone to do that for them. Importantly, since you’re intending to go give birth there, make sure you start your application as early as 3 months into the pregnancy. Goodluck. Finlola: |

My Visa was denied. I just checked the website today and saw it. It came as a shock, but I am happy they didn't take 4months to reply to me, cuz I can make other arrangements for another country to spend my vacation. It is well |

Hi house, Please, how can one transfer or send money electronically( NOT physical presence at bank) from a Nigerian savings account to a Brazilian bank account? Will be expecting your response. Thanks |
| Re: Giving Birth In Brazil by owagbeba: 7:34pm On Jul 26, 2025 |
Greatphase:You’ll need to have a dormicilliary account at GTB and a hardware token to submit FX transfer on their internet banking platform. - deposit your cash dollar into your dorm account -log into the internet banking platform -go to menu -scroll down to FX transaction - select fx to other banks -fill in your beneficiary details with SWIFT CODE -click continue - put your token code -GTB will process your fx transfer within 12hours -Beneficiary will receive funds in 48hrs |

owagbeba:Thanks for replying. I have GTB's domiciliary account already but yet to get it's token. It means physically depositing the dollar cash in my GTB domiciliary account first. Thanks |

Good morning, beautiful people. Please, for persons who got visas approved for a Brazil tourist visa, please where can I buy insurance from? The Embassy in my current country of residence insists that I buy insurance valid in Brazil + PAY for a round-trip flight ticket. I need advice on getting these two requirements. Thank you in advance as you advise. |

Greetings everyone, Please oo, we submitted our visit application in June, and we sent hard copies after they requested for them. (btw my wife plans to give birth there in Nov). 15 working days later, they requested for another 3-months Bank statement for my visit visa, and I sent it to them. Its been 35-40 working days after I sent the bank statements, no update on my portal. Is it advisable to email them about my application. Or just wait till they respond? My flight schedule is late October, wife due date is November. Please advise me. |
