If only Fubara had obeyed this very simple rule things would have been very different. Not just him, but many disregard it to their own peril. Despite its reversal it pays to be loyal, even to a weak master that you are stronger than.

I couldnt even read it properly, my mind just kept on proposing contradictions to every point he made.

The one about knowing who you're dealing with–don't offend the wrong people. I don't recall law what that is.

There is another book apart from this 48laws of power, written by the same author i think. Its also a great book like this one.

Definitely it's the number 1. Never outshine the master

To achieve this you have to learn to talk less and listen more.
