They actually bring value. Here is how.
Nigerian churches are basically business centers. Nigerians go to church to look for prosperity, not because they love/respect God or Christ. If Tiwa for example attends xyz church and she's flourishing, Nigerians want the God(real God) and god(pastor) of Tiwa to do it for them too so they start attending the same church. The pastor also encourages celebrities to keep coming because it will increase total attendance.
