Hello All, Please I need serious help. My Lexus Rx350 2008 model SUV has the check engine flashing. Each time its flashing the power and performance of the engine reduces. I had a scan run on it it complain about the no 3 and 5 coil which i have change with another one,the cylinder misfire. All that can be done has been done even to the extent of changing all the spark and ignition plugs but still the problem persists. Please what can I do, spending a lot on the car. Could it be electrical problems?and the car is working well before,i just notice the oil is dry and finish quickly,so when it was the time to change the oil for servicing i change both gear and engine oil, at that point the mechanic advice me to ring the engine,so agreed with him,so go-ahead at the same time he condemn the crown-shaft as well, we fix all this, after ringing the given did not bring out the good voice,i was told the timing is not correct they brig the engine down to re-timing it back....at the end of it,the check engine flashing. Each time its flashing the power and performance of the engine reduces and i was told again is wiring problem, some rewire even told me that my brain bus has to replace, please sir/ma someone shuold please assist me ooo......i have spend less that 500K STILL not getting the result ,thank you help your brother, |

Boss what was wrong with your car is not wiring but damage valve on the top cylinder and probably piston. 2 thing either your start preparing to replace engine or the engine comes down for proper reassembling |

Hydronium:Kindly consider HONDA CRV EXL 2014 model. Don't go for CVT transmission and My choice Engine is K24. |

Hydronium:Greetings sir/ma I will recommend Honda HR-V, Rav-4 2014. Within that bracket you can go for RX330 2008 Though you also consider parts availability and pocket friendly prices of those parts and most especially from most of my customers request resell values. |

Blackbishop:Thanks sir Rav 4 was initially on my list, but i heard it was overpriced as are all toyota products (and i was planning to go for foreign used or grade A nigerian used--if there's anything like that). That's why i cancelled it off my list. I guess i will reconsider it again. But sir, compared to hyundai santa fe 2014, is the rav 4 2014 better? I thank you. (I am a male) |

Hydronium:Hyundai Santa Fe do have oil shortage issue and a crack cylinder bloc factory defects The pictures below is an Hyundai Santa Fe 2014 engine I repaired. Hydronium:That vehicle may look not common, and it was due high rise in cost of vehicle in Nigeria. Let me tell you, the vehicle is great and easy to maintain. No much complex module rather basic. That K24 engine was already in use since 2002 and review shown that it performance was great, though they were not the same, just with little variation due area of application. If you want other suggestion, then you will need to state you features that you want in vehcle, so as to state other option. |

Car owners needs to pay close attention to road side mechanics or unlearned technicians. 2015 Toyota Forerunner was brought into workshop for Lube service, when the filter cup was removed the aluminum holding the filter was badly twisted due over torque by the emergency mechanic asked to perform oil change previously.

Ensuring a smooth operation of your car hinges on various factors, with fuel being a critical component for starting the vehicle. If you encounter issues like a faulty fuel pump or a clogged fuel filter, your car may refuse to budge from its parking spot. Signs of a problematic fuel pump include: - Mimicking random misfires - Rough idling - Erratic RPM - Inability to rev while in park or drive. Note: Always ensure a tune up periodically

Experiencing Error Code 41-11 (No Signal From Left Front Impact Sensor) on my Acura TSX 2008. The sensor, situated on the chassis behind the driver's side front bumper, has been identified as the culprit. Upon inspection, corroded wiring and socket connections were discovered, likely caused by prolonged exposure to muddy waters. As a precaution, the sensor itself was replaced to ensure optimal performance. Following the replacement, the error code was cleared, and the vehicle underwent an extensive test drive to facilitate the CAN BUS system's comprehensive recalibration process.
