Hello everyone. Please I checked my university on anabin and it’s H+ and my degree is also listed However my degree in mass comm is listed as a B.Sc in Germany while it’s a B.A in Nigeria. Please do I still need to pay for ZAB or can I use it like that |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by victorygiven: 11:37pm On Jul 24, 2025 |
Now that everyone going for interview will write short tests, pls anyone who has gone for interview should post all questions here so everyone can prepare, its same as student visa questions so anyone who can get it from the study group can post here ,goodluck to everyone. |

Hannania:Does this mean that once your degree is on Annabin OR with your ZAB confirmation, you don't need IELTS? |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Nobody: 5:43am On Jul 26, 2025 |
Laryfrosh:Yes, you don't. I didn't submit neither of language test, CV, or motivational letter. Just the comporsory school certificates, birth certificate, indigene letter, Anabin screenshots then my BA and health insurance. My visa was issued in less than 2 weeks. That's the advantage of skilled worker option. |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Nobody: 5:46am On Jul 26, 2025 |
ImaobongAfia:Apply for the visa while simultaneously submitting your ZAB application for comparability. The consulate seems to be getting strict, so you need to make sure you tick all boxes just incase they ask |

Diceman8:It's getting really slow. I was asked to submit on 7th July and they haven't finished their preliminary review till date. It's frustrating |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Diceman8: 3:30pm On Jul 26, 2025 |
profsomebody:Well its probably getting slow as expected because of student visa, german government gets very busy around this time as summer is ending and new semester is starting around september, new international students entering the country etc. Its hectic. May i ask when did you join the waiting list? |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by profsomebody(m): 3:42pm On Jul 26, 2025 |
Diceman8:You have a good point. March 20th |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Diceman8: 6:12pm On Jul 26, 2025 |
profsomebody:Wow so march 20+ still hasnt gone for interview. Thats not good |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by herlonso: 6:12pm On Jul 26, 2025 |
Hannania:Bro thank you for your good work here. I heard approving the request to sponsor people in Germany is quite challenging. Is that true? I thought there are certain criteria that clearly you know if you qualify or not. One person painted it like it's the discretion of the consular. How true is this? |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Nobody: 10:15pm On Jul 26, 2025 |
herlonso:I don't understand your question |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by herlonso: 11:28pm On Jul 26, 2025 |
Hannania:What I meant is that someone stated that SL is not well approved like block account. He said it is not easy as been paraded that for SL to scale through, the guarantor must prove beyond reasonable doubt and it will be at the discretion of the consular. I felt it should not be so cos those that have the requirement to sponsor people should know they're qualified to do so. |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Nobody: 6:03am On Jul 27, 2025 |
herlonso:That person is giving you evening newspaper stories. I'm sure the person thinks SL in Germany works like proof of sponsorship for UK, US and Canada. When your sponsor applies for SL, the ausländerbehörde(immigration office of the resident's city) requests for 6 months payslip, house contract(to make sure he/she can accommodate you), and other minor documents depending on the city. They then check the creditworthiness of the sponsor based on the minimum income and house space. As long as the sponsor meets the requirements clearly stated by the city, the sponsorship letter is issued. It's literally black and white. No grey areas. The consulate were you will apply for your visa has no preference for BA or SL. Both serve the same purpose and legally backed by law. Avoid that person because he/she likely has other bad advises in store for you, evidenced by the fact they're clearly clueless. |

Hi Hannania, I'm a newly graduated doctor currently about do his internship and I looking at the opportunity card after my internship but I have no idea if my points will be enough is there a way to figure this out? I've got 5 years of tech experience too but without a CS degree, I don't know if it can be relevant in my application Also, is the Visa wait time the same as Student Visa? |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Nobody: 10:44pm On Jul 27, 2025 |
Donpre:So you want to practice as a doctor or as a tech professional? |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Donpre(m): 11:12pm On Jul 27, 2025 |
Hannania:I don't mind any of them... I'm currently open to any I'm trying to use the points calculator and I'm stuck at "if my degree is fully recognised in Germany". Do you know if an MBBS degree from a federal school is? to add? I already checked Anabin and its there(H+) I'm new to this so forgive the dumb questions and fumblings |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Nobody: 12:36am On Jul 28, 2025 |
Donpre:Since you've not made up your mind, sorry I can't be of help. Maybe someone else will assist you. Clarity is of the essence. |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Donpre(m): 1:05am On Jul 28, 2025 |
Hannania:Clarity requires information and I had hoped I would get some here. Thanks for the time though, I honestly do appreciate it. Have a pleasant evening |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by CornOak(m): 9:03am On Jul 28, 2025 |
Donpre:Since your school is recognized, go back to Anabin and check if your degree (MBBS) is listed. |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by Donpre(m): 9:41am On Jul 28, 2025 |
CornOak:It is listed but no classification just a list of "lending institutions" which my school is one of them |
