These killings shows that banditry is still a serious problem in Nigeria especially in rural areas where it is hard for security forces to respond quickly but Tinubu deserves praise for working with state governments to improve safety. We will get there. Rome wasn't built in a day. |

News like this is a tragedy and doesn't look like it is going to end anytime. Remove the incompetent people in power so that those that can do the job will come in. God bless Nigeria. |

SoftSport:Same Tinubu that belatedly told governor Alia and Celeb Mafwang to address the insecurity ravaging their states thereby abdicating his constitutional responsibility as the C-in-C? Same Tinubu whose govt is giving these terrorists leeway to kill more citizens while granting them amnesty as repentant, rehabilitated and deradicalised terrorists? Who is fooling who? Recalled he was asking Jonathan to resign because of the same insecurity that have worsened under his watch? |

Racoon:Tinubu has been working tirelessly with State government to reinforce safety. That's a known fact. Feb 15, 2024 – Tinubu met with 36 governors to initiate state police discussions. Feb 22, 2025 – Tinubu called for multi-agency security synergy at Strategic Security Conference. March 7, 2024 – Over 280 kidnapped students rescued in Kaduna; praised for swift federal-state coordination. March 2024 – Kaduna Governor Uba Sani credited Tinubu for stabilizing security in North-West. April 2, 2024 – Tinubu reaffirmed commitment to state policing, urging constitutional reform. June 4, 2025 – Tinubu visited Benue after 150 villagers killed, directed crackdown on attackers. July 8, 2025 – Tinubu responded to massacre in Plateau, ordered investigations and troop deployment. July 2025 – Approved increase of police recruitment from 10,000 to 30,000 officers annually. We are getting there gradually. |

Few bandits gradually did the damage over an extended period of time because they were protected by their region - the north. Any attempt at blackmailing the southern president will be met with similar resistance as the #IStandWithBuhari that was concocted during #EndSars. They have finished most of their religious exercises for the year and are just playing the usual victims-of-poverty scripts that attracts oyel money for their region. |

And later when other countrie sissue travel advisories, take their businesses elsewhere people will scream discrimination. Is there any proof we have a functional government in the country? This trend has been happening for the last 24 months it has only gotten worse meanwhile the focus is on the 2027 elections. If you like stay at home during the elections, by 2027 Libya will be better than here. |
