The words on every Nigerian's lips are: 'When are we going to reap the gains of Tinubu's economic reforms?' We were told that the pain and anguish caused by the reforms would be temporary. But how long is 'temporary'.....two years, three years, four years, five years, a decade, fifty years, a hundred years, a generation? |

These reforms are long overdue, the MDAs are a cauldron of corruption. |

Ofunaofu:Maybe in your own farm, you reap your fruits the day you plant them. Arm chair critics. |

Putindbutt:Putindbutt, listen, we don’t expect to reap on the day we plant. But we also don’t expect to water the ground with suffering and be told the seeds are magic beans that take forever to grow. Accountability isn’t armchair criticism, it’s the price of leadership. If you can’t handle the heat, maybe step away from the fire you helped start. |

Ofunaofu:You think I have the time explaining anything to you when your mind is already fixated on retrogressive reasoning. Every threads highlighting current projects and positive reports, you guys wail on it and call it propaganda. Whatever you see is what you get. |

The MDAs are the epicenter of purifying institutional corruption in government. However, since the fish always starts to rot from the head, there is no hope that it is abating under a leadership that is an epitome of corruption itself. |

This is a good move. The Nigerian government does not instill confidence in its own currency if it deals officially in another country's currency. I hope implemention is taken seriously. |

Either in naira or in dollars equivalent they will Still change it to dollars. The issues now is that naira is unstable currency and billionaires will not want to keep their wealth in naira base account. It’s more fix asset when contract are dollar base. When buhari and tinubu came. Billions was wipe out from the economy and peoples account overnight with bad economic policies and floating of naira. |

Ofunaofu:@ the bolden! Sometimes you don’t need to ask some questions. In a country with the level of degeneration as Nigeria, you should know it might take some time for policies like the ones the president is taking to be fully effective but the question should have been, are they the right steps and nearly everyone agrees they are. Tinubu set the pace in Lagos and now the state is obviously on track to greatness when compared to other states in the country. The president is equally taking some necessary steps to retract the country to where it should be, with time, even all of you people that love to hate him will agree within yourselves that he’d done a great job for the development of the country. |

But, Tinubu can dash out gifts in dollars. After he will accuse Bureau de change people of causing the depreciation of the Naira. These politicians are just heartless. |

Bar1941:The bold right there is the kind of thinking that got Nigeria into this mess, discouraging critical questions while demanding blind faith in policies that have brought more pain than progress. We keep hearing, “It takes time” but Nigerians have been waiting for decades. Every administration promises that suffering is temporary, yet for the average Nigerian, hardship has become permanent. We’re not asking for magic; we’re asking for results. Real reforms don’t just inflict pain they offer a path to relief. So far, all we’ve seen is suffering with no end in sight. And about Tinubu “setting the pace” in Lagos, let’s be honest: Alhaji Lateef Jakande set the real foundation for modern Lagos. He built schools, low-cost housing, roads, and even initiated the metro line project (until it was halted by the military). All of this on a modest budget without oil revenue or inflated IGR with alpha beta kick backs. Other governors also contributed in their own right. Lagos didn’t begin with Tinubu, and pretending otherwise is historical revisionism. |
