I remembered years ago when my elder sis gave birth and I went to visit, I stayed for a month. One day they went out and I was alone with the child, the child defeacate, I thought it was just to remove the dirty pampers and put her another pampers.

I no know how e happen but na so shit crawl comot for pampers climb my hand, I tried to clean shit for my hand, na so I look mirror, see shit hang for my eye lashes, my face was full of shit, I tried to clean it, only to realize the pikin don pack shit for hand, I had to fight with the baby so she doesn't put her hand in her mouth, before I knew, shit deh my trouser, before I could say jack, shit full for couch, tv remote, the entire house was full of shit. The only safe part is my mouth and the child's mouth. After 2hrs, I was able to change the diapers.

From that day, I respect anybody that can change pampers.

Can you change Pampers? What was it like the first time you attempted to change baby's Pampers?

How was faeces on the child's hand when that child was already in diapers?
After removing the diapers where did you keep it? Maybe closer to the child that's why she was able to grab it..

Maybe you let her sit in poop for too long. Once you smell poop or notice the diaper is soiled, you have to change it otherwise It can get messy if they keep peeing and the absorbent gets oversaturated. I'm a dad and I had to learn the hard way. Before becoming a dad, I had never changed diapers in my life.

Dude never learned from observation. I did it perfectly the first time because I always watched any parent doing it. The child’s father decided to teach me how to do it later. I believe he was reteaching himself because it was no different from all the steps I followed.

My mistake the first time I changed was that I turn the back to the front,and the front to the back.

They allowed me to make the mistake comfortably first, before she told me the right way to change it..

Funny story. I've changed pampers so many times. Not difficult.

I always place the baby on flat surface. Typically on the bed. But out of precaution I will place a Macintosh on the area first before placing the baby. Initial challenge of first day was not taking note of the side that is front, next was latching it too tight. But I soon mastered it, but it's not something I like doing and I only do it when I have no option (when looking after the baby alone). The instances I hate most is when there's too much poo that I had to wash the baby before putting a new one on.
