In a heartbreaking twist straight out of a Nollywood script, a Nigerian woman has gone viral after revealing how she discovered on Facebook that her husband — with whom she shares three children — had secretly married another woman. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

The tearful story was shared in a viral video on X (formerly Twitter), where the woman emotionally narrated her ordeal. According to her, she had been married for years but always faced rejection from her husband’s family — especially his mother, who strongly opposed the marriage because the woman is from Anambra while her husband is from Enugu.

“His mum never supported our marriage. She even sent demonic messages to me, saying I’ll die if I don’t leave her son,” she said.

Despite the warnings and red flags, the couple tied the knot and started a family. But things never got better.

“We lived in the same house and didn’t talk for a whole year. He was tired of me. He lied and pretended a lot,” she recalled.

At one point, the husband returned from a trip with a young woman who began following him around. When questioned, the man’s mother claimed the girl was “just the neighbor’s daughter.” But things took a darker turn.

“In 2021, I visited the village, and he brought the same girl along. She was already playing with my children and even doing my daughter’s hair,” the woman narrated.

The final blow came in 2022 when she stumbled upon her husband’s wedding pictures with the same girl — on Facebook.

“He didn’t even tell me anything. I just saw it on Facebook that he had married her,” she said.

Now a single mother of three living in Abuja, the woman says the emotional toll of the experience has aged her rapidly.

“I just clocked 40, but I look 65,” she added.
