Exactly. It is what it is. grin

As for me, I just want him to be fit and prepared for Super Eagles games, that's all. At least, he'll be getting some action in Gala instead of just staying idle. Although some people might argue over the level of skill or competition in Turkey.

u have said it all. If dem like mk the president of Turkey come airport receive Osimhen and em entourage/family the move na one of the worst made by any Nigerian player in recent times

Imagine how hurtful it is scoring tons of goals in a league where your effort and talent won’t be applauded and acknowledged just because you do it in lowly rated league.

Competing for the the league golden boot with the likes of El Neysri, Tammy Abraham , Nwakaeme and co when you are as a good as Halaand, Mbappe and other world class rated players of this generation 😪😪😪😭😭😭

I just pray Mola’s move to Inter materializes mk em put smile for my face jaree 🤦‍♀️🥱

I wonder how long it will take before we get another top player like Osimhen. I could be wrong, but the last Super Eagles player(s) I remember that had this much cred were Kanu and Okocha, both of whom hit their prime in the late 90s/early 2000s. That's a mighty long time ago haha.

You guys should learn to calm down..
Una just dey cry about this move since..
You can't know what's best for him more than the one wearing the shoes himself..

You're looking from the outside..
I'm sure the whole details of why he ended up on Galatasaray have not been released..

Give the guy a break
Osimhen has done no wrong..
When ADL wanted to frustrate him last season, Gala gave him a way out..
See the lengths they have gone to sign him up now.. see the sacrifice!
It's difficult to turn away from that kind of love and desire..

They are even buying players and strengthening their squad to make them more competitive ..

Na so una talk about PSG being in a farmers league until they flog everybody last season..

Again I say, you guys should learn to calm down
Make season start, I trust Victor to shut everybody up.. Hausa league or not

😂 In this same thread where people talk say osihmen is not world class, Oga Emeka calm down o some people here have accepted osihmen can never be like mbappe or halaand so dead this matter abeg.

You’re the one that’s hurting some folks here that may be supporting your point but inside them they are happy that osihmen is not near world class, not everyone is sincere like you o so chill. All those talk of potential na just hypocritical hyping.

Osimhen is a record breaker, he's always breaking old and setting new records. This guy has broken more records than many Nigerian greats, set continental records multiple times and is still set to break and set more records.

How many Nigerian footballers currently dey put Nigeria on the biggest stage like this? The whole world knew a player was moving from somewhere to somewhere, just to go sign a contract, hasn't been officially unveiled yet. I can swear that if it was Haaland or Mbappé pulling such numbers, we no go hear word here.

Y'all are just sour minded because he no cut him salary for Premier League teams and fail to see the positives and how big this guy is raising the Nigerian flag.

Well, no long talk. OSIMHEN TO GALATASARAY is official, the biggest signing in Turkish history, the third most expensive transfer in African football history (of which Osimhen himself still holds the first position).

The fact that he's the only African player to have been bought at the rate of 70M+ more than once shows his consistency and lack of form-dipping and he'll be here to do more crazy things.

Osimhen is not just a name, it's a Nigerian brand, it's a Nigerian force, it's Nigerian PRIDE! Whether you like it or not! Osimhen is grace and greatness personified! 🇳🇬

With the historical reception he got from Galatasaray fans after their club delegates and club have suffered so much just to sign him, I'd rather be at Galatasaray than cut my salary by half and still be expected to k-ll myself for the club. See Ekitike wey dey find am hard to trap ball for yesterday match dey earn €10M now from €3M, is this so hard to understand? We love deceiving ourselves as Nigerians!

GOD BLESS OSIMHEN FOR NOT LISTENING TO ONLINE ADVISERS. LEGACY IS NOT TIED TO THE PREMIER LEAGUE ALONE!

Wouldn't it be a thing, if Osimhen wins the APOTY from the Turkish League?

Yeah, he would need to do more than others
But then, with Osimhen.. nothing is ever impossible!!

Dragged 2 teams to win League titles in 2 major European leagues..

I won't bet against him grabbing the APOTY again soon..

In the same week Nigerians are being bashed in some foreign countries but make we celebrate the ones giving us a good reputation out there na problem. I bet if it was an English player getting this vibe in Turkey it will be in the British media all week cos they know that’s a huge thing for their country but no for us we must become critical of anything good and that’s why small countries like Ghana diss us a lot cos we have rubbished ourselves before them. If we like make we continue this stupid habit and think we are being clever, imagine Morocco petitioning CAF alleging that we used ineligible players that’s how they don see us finish including Libya pulling useless stunts on us few months ago. But do I blame them of course not because we Dey yeye ourselves too much out there on top nothing.

to win african footballer of the year again he has to

1. Win the champions league with galatasaray
2. Qualify for the next world cup and reach the semi finals and maybe the final.

Then, he can easily win it.
But will Galatasary win the champions league.
They need to buy like 5 very good players.
They can go into the academy of man city or maybe
get players that europeans say are not good but are actually very good
Someone like Joa Felix but the suadis have bought him.
Maybe get some wonder kids from south america.
They can try the French league. There are many hidden gems in the french league
They can try muller of bayern munich. That one may consider retireing in turkey
But i doubt it

Gala are actually ambitious in the transfer market..
They brought in Sane from Bayern
They are in talks for both Donarumma and Ederson with a plan to bring in one of them..
That's quality in the goal keeping department

They will still strengthen with one or two more solid buys
A deep run in the UCL is possible..
So let's see how it goes

To start with, my position is not about judging Osimhen's choice. Whatever Osimhen chooses to do with his career is none of my business. I am just making my own personal observations on what I believe is the optimal environment for a player of his stature, and no disrespect to Galatasaray - I know they're a very solid team and will be playing in the UCL, and may likely go very far - but respectfully, and in light of the current state of affairs, I simply don't see the Turkish League as one for someone of Osimhen's caliber. And frankly I don't think there's anything he'll do in that league that would impress me that much. Simple. We all don't have to agree with each other. Would I rather he be in the Top 5 leagues in Europe? Absolutely yes, because right now, they're more competitive and will boost his global brand even further to match or even exceed that of Kanu and Okocha. Is there anything I can do about it? NO. And I've made my peace with it.

If Osimhen thinks the Turkish league best suits him, then good for him. Like I said, the only thing wey concern me be say make the bobo turn up for our international games and perform well. That's why I'm satisfied with the fact that he'll still be active. That's what matters more to me. Afterall nobody gives a hoot about Vincent Aboubakar until he's playing games for Cameroon. And he performs well there.
