Hi everyone, I have a 2015 Mercedes ML350. The car was working normally, then last night it just wouldn't engage gear, it just revved, called the mechanic and he came and said the sump seal was bad. We fixed the leakage, called someone to reset the EGS.

But here's the issue:
The car still wouldn't move unless the mechanic uses his scanner to force it by probably bypassing the EGS or something.

The error code is "UD426"

The mechanic is saying I need to replace the entire EGS but I don't trust his judgement

Anyone here dealt with this before?

I could be mistaken about the error code, I only glanced it from what the mechanic showed me. It could be UO426 like somebody pointed out here

Price of Castrol EDGE 5W30 fully synthetic high mileage is around 75-85k depending. Anything less than this, na FAKE.

Start with having another mechanic checking the car, scanning the car, performing full careful inspection and diagnosis on the car.

Please I need serious help. My Lexus Rx350 2008 model SUV has the check engine flashing. Each time its flashing the power and performance of the engine reduces. I had a scan run on it it complain about the no 3 and 5 coil which i have change with another one,the cylinder misfire. All that can be done has been done even to the extent of changing all the spark and ignition plugs but still the problem persists.

Please what can I do, spending a lot on the car. Could it be electrical problems?and the car is working well before,i just notice the oil is dry and finish quickly,so when it was the time to change the oil for servicing i change both gear and engine oil, at that point the mechanic advice me to ring the engine,so agreed with him,so go-ahead at the same time he condemn the crown-shaft as well, we fix all this,after ringing the given did not bring out the good voice,i was told the timing is not correct they brig the engine down to re-timing it back....at the end of it,the check engine flashing. Each time its flashing the power and performance of the engine reduces and i was told again is wiring problem,some rewire even told me that my brain bus has to replace,please sir/ma someone shuold please assist me ooo......i have spend less that 500K STILL not getting the result ,thank you help your brother,

Just change the engine to direct tok and have your peace.....

That mecho that ring the engine did a very terrible work.

The car fell into terrible hands, you say you noticed the engine oil drying up prior to this, that's a terrible thing, the ringing was most likely done bad and the damage already began before the poor ringing job, new engine time!

First place to start is to change your mechanics, you were dealing with quacks. Oil drying up shouldn't equate to the next thing changing rings.

Secondly, in correct valve timing

Thirlby, compression on each cylinder might not be at the right specification any more

Physical checks would be needed here, but I suspect your cooling fans, has the fan been wired to start on ignition, check the connections ( for a stuck relay )

I always tell u dumbos. B4 they will ri g engine.it means the piston rings have broken.crankshaft have cut..etc. your piston rings were stuck duebtonyewrs and months of gulping naija fake fuel which causes carbon build up onbpiston crowns,thereby leadingnto piston seizing and mad oil consumption which would affect injectors,plugs and overall engine performance. A liquid that costs 100k would have solved every.now the original rings have been removed and fake china installed.even if u buy toks engine.na 90/10@ chances say na reworked engine...sell the lexus and buy corolla or crv.4 plugs.dem don chop u taya.500k nawa o.byt we knw say e go pass 500k. Buy car u willbe able to dismantle and understand no..na rx.

If it continued to make sound at park or at idle.
Then either engine oil has dried out and connecting rods and the rest have done meet and greet .thus engine knocked...
Or timing chain or timing belt has snapped and cut.
Those are the two culprits. But me i know say engine don knock..break

Fuel pump may be weak or defective, spark plugs, injectors, coils may be defective, ecm may be defective. If you're in Abuja, DM let's diagnose and possibly repair it.

Are you headlight high beams working fine, if check the front of the vehicle for any dislodged wires going to the headlamp module or pre collision system. Also get the car scanned, if in Lagos contact me @ 08028992075

Good evening House, can I use these products for my Toyota Camry that has piston slap sounds according to what I saw online. I have to mix the second product (flusher) with the old oil and I do my car for 15 to 20 minutes then drain the whole thing and after that, I add the new oil to get out with the first image product (ceratec) and it is supposed to help with the piston slap sound.

Is this okay to do?
