Negroconer:This is left to you and no one You're the one travelling, I'll not mention any figure for you Read my post again, the earlier one. I already gave a guide on what the cost should be. Your annual salary is how much and how many months did I say your estimated spending should not exceed? |

Gracey95:Im new here as i just recently applied for a 2yr uk visa cuz my 6months expired and i hope i get it. Here’s one thing i learnt from my little knowledge, clear intent is important. This visa was clearly denied cuz the event has passed. If it hadn’t then ehn hen. Nothing stops you from reapplying if there’s another event coming up but make sure you give ample time for approval. Say like a month or apply for priority if its needed ASAP. 25th is still a little far cuz uk is quicker than most with their answers, but before you gather docs, fill the form and go for biometrics it may be some time, so if you can get your sponsor to apply for priority appointment, that will be fantastic cuz some people get answers even next day. It all depends on the urgency and importance of it cuz if its not important enough, they will deny it again. Another thing is your own personal circumstances, even if you have a sponsor, they still look at your circumstance. So make sure to attach you payslips and bank statements even though you’re uploading that of your sponsor too, it shows steady income and can be a strong tie to home. Lastly don’t forget to declare that youve had a previous visa refused. I hope this helps but, yh i will definitely reapply if i were you. |

Regarding the 'Other Savings' column, should I include both the funds currently in my account and the Treasury Bill (TB), or should I only indicate the value of the TB?" davodyguy: |

In my previous visa application, I did not mention that I have a family friend in the UK. For this application, should I include the intention to visit my family friend, or would it be more appropriate to focus solely on sightseeing and tourism? Cashmadam: |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Gracey95: 10:14pm On Jul 31, 2025 |
Fraih:Congratulations... Did you apply either priority? |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Gracey95: 10:15pm On Jul 31, 2025 |
Nellyjo:Thank you for the feedback. I did priority the last time. I will be applying normally If choose to reapply and hope for the best. |

Negroconer:Account you use for daily upkeep is not savings. Savings are investments that are not touched regularly TB is savings |

I am living and working in the UK on a skilled worker visa. Would it be possible to apply for a visitor visa for my babe to come see me? |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by davodyguy: 11:51pm On Jul 31, 2025 |
Negroconer:Are you going to see that person? Otherwise, ignore. Not that they're going to trace you when you get in. Anyone you'll be seeing and is a citizen is worth mentioning |

Dear all, Do I have to upload the checklist and the filled application forms? Do I have to make coloured copies of every page of the international passport for submission? I saw something like that on the checklist. Also, should I sign and date the checklist while uploading my documents? Thanks in advance. |

ayo23us:Fresh passport? Don't worry about all pages. Your data page is fine. Yes, upload "checklist.pdf" On checklist, don't write/ sign on the paper. Take the printed one to vfs. If needed, you'll sign there with actual date. |

Dear all, "A criminal record certificate from the relevant National authority in Nigeria as you have been present there for 12 months or more (whether continuously or in total) in the 10 years before the date of application, and while aged 18." Anyone received such an email; how did you fix it? |

[quote author=pufframmy post=136314454]congratulation can you share what change First reason they gave was I said I spend 120,000 monthly and 8 have a debit of 1M. Second was that they are not sure if my friend and I are still in constant communication and she may not be there for me when I visit. So in my new application I added invoice for the 1M and WhatsApp voice and calls from April 2024 to June 2025. Documents added: Savings account statement from 1st of Dec to 2nd of July Salary account: 2 months + statement CAC documents Consent letter from Hubby Marriage certificate Children birth certificate Family pictures Sales and purchase invoices My 2 kids admission letters Work place introduction letter Appointment letter Last promotion Payslips Cover letter . Why my salary account was 2 months+ was that I changed my mind of waiting till next year to reapply so I removed huge sum few days later my UK friend told me that I shouldn't leave till next year to reapply and that she will pay the application fee, so I put the money back into the account immediately that was in April and printed the statement on July 2nd. I was scared of the 2 months + Salary Statement but Baba God did it. |

xx1v:Apply for police certificate or criminal record from the country they are talking about. This is definitely not a visit visa application. |
