Most of us suffered and were traumatized by fellow Nigerians. I understand her story and pains. Some of us decided to move on and forget entirely about the mishaps and misdeeds in Nigeria else many of us in diaspora would be more outspoken than her.

I've heard gists about the harsh treatment in boarding schools that each time my parents want to punish you for what you did, you'll hear, "if you repeat this, I'll send you to boarding school!"


In my secondary school days, I had a friend that was sent to boarding school, on the first term, she came back so lean.
She gave us terrible stories
Things like:
- Seniors seizing your provisions
- Using one sachet of water to bath especially when there is no water and if there is limited supply of water, the seniors come into their rooms and forcefully take it.
- Senior forcing the girls to be lesbians, especially in girls schools.
If you refuse it, they punish you by giving you a very harsh punishment from time to time.
