If given the opportunity, the woman will even deny her tribe!

She appears to hate that name Kemi, but finds it difficult to change, since she had been known with that name politically. That name must surely annoy her. She visited the same Nigeria last year and met very senior government officials. I cannot forget the heavy hailing from her people.

By the way, was it so bad in Shagamu then?

But truth be told, she is saying the truth but the way the message was communicated is laced with huge bile.
She's a spoilt child. It's her bad upbringing that pushed her to success at all costs. No matter how bad your upbringing, school, neighbourhood, initial workplace is never speak bad about it. We should learn to be grateful to God for the challenges we have overcome over time and where he has brought us to and pray for better future.

In contrast to her, how many times have you heard someone like Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, speak bad about Nigeria, both her past or present experience? Hardly so. Let's learn from people like Ngozi Okonjo Iweala in our dealings with people.

How does that even make sense to you that you are writing this?
Where do you draw the line between being partisan i.e being foolish or being Nigerian and Paitrotic?

Regardless of who you voted for or want in Aso rock, it's still your flag, your country your forefathers blood in its soil.

When would we all wake up to see that it's what we make of it that others will make it?

What is really wrong with this Kemi BadLuck of a Yoruba woman sef?
This woman is bent on demarketing Nigeria
The word truly is “demarketing”. So far we are waiting for the denouncement of the likes of Bayo Onanuga and Reno Omokri. One recalls that the accused Peter Obi of demarketing the country when he was speaking the truth. Kemi Badenoch also spoke her mind in her experience in Shagamu and we are waiting for tribalists to respond, if they can.

Kemi I love you but you need to chill. Take a chill pill darling.

The former Indian prime minister didn't have to denigrate India to become elected.
Kemi never denigrate any one, but speak truth to power. She is in UK doing the work an opposition parties supposed to be doing against evil and bad government against the masses in Nigeria. It baffles me seeing some Nigerians speaking against someone like Kemi who always criticise bad goverance in Nigeria

Walahi.....some will develop hernia and veins will burst because of this.

BlackViper:
Hahaha😂 Kemi has triggered millions of Nigerians once again into having their famous/infamous childish tantrums.

One would think that Nigerians would be grateful for having such a high profile critic of their corrupt government that has a habit of buying up opposition party members.

Kemi can't be bought because unlike Femi Fani Kayode, Reno O Mockery etc, she's not a typical "arowojobe" anywhere belle face Nigerian politician.

She is prepared to dispense with diplomatic niceties and speak the bitter chloroquine truth.

People are just absurdly hypocritical. She is not the first. Chinụa Achebe kept rejecting every useless national award thrown at him. For the same exact reason. Did the Igbo's ostracise him for it? No. This woman should be held in high esteem, especially by her tribal folks. But, no. Hypocritical bunch. Suffering in secret. Bravado in public. Nonsense
Re: Kemi Badenoch Compares Her Nigerian Boarding School Experience To Prison by bluefilm: 8:07pm On Aug 02, 2025
At least, she has a school experience she can relate to

Some of us don't even have any record of any school attended or any classmates, dead or alive that we can mention, not to talk of boarding school experience we can talk about

Kemi really suffered in Nigeria. She was traumatized by Nigeria.

And she is using the experience to gain sympathy and be more popular towards wimming the UK PM election.
She’s a manipulator, a liar and a very bad one.

Her dad was comfortable, ‘a doctor to the oil companies’, highly privileged, travelled round the world during the days of oil boom. Her mum was doing ok.
She even had a ‘Barbie cake’ in 1984….yet she claims to have had it so rough, you’d think she was starved most of the time, you’d think from her silly tales that her parents were so poor they couldn’t get her the basics necessities like clothes, shoes/sandals.

Her parents travelled the world, had access to top medical and health care to have been able to travel to England to meet a fertility expert. Her parents were shopping not in ASDA and Tescos but top exclusive shops like Harrods.

I was in boarding house and I can confirm everything she said here is right. My performance dropped hugely when I was in boarding house.

You know what they called 'Labour'? Each time I remember the agony, I feel depressed. The seniors were dangerously ruthless. I was beaten with CUTLASS, belt, stick and whatnot.

I'm not sure I really have any fond memory of staying in boarding house.

She never rest?

Don't worry you will be Prime Minister soon. Then we can all rest from your "Experiences" in Nigeria as if the Europeans don't have their own challenges.

Just wait.

I love her. As Nigerian politicians are hardened, maybe one little spark or kick here or there could reset the system. One way or the other, one thing must wake our political system to do the right thing.

What she said is the Truth about the System we run here as per the Boarding Schools but I bet someone in the UK will have their own experience too.

Always coming out to say what the Nigerian System lacks is somehow. She is not a Representative in Nigeria, she is an MP in England why can't she talk about the challenges in the UK? Why must she always pick on Nigeria?

She's being childish. She doesn't need to denigrate her country to please the British.
If she thinks this stupidity would help her convince them to become PM, she's on a long thing.
Rishi Sunak didn't have to sound stupid before becoming PM. He showed performance.
