that excuse of him being abusive because of his issue with Finidi na nonsense

The major reason no big club from Europe’s top 5 leagues didn’t take Osimhen was his wage demand. If Osimhen wages were between 180k-200k one of the top teams would have signed him easily

With the financial terms and clause Napoli had in the contract of sale to Gala no right thinking club in europe top 5 leagues will agree to that

This would have been avoided if Osimhen didn’t renew his contract with Napoli
The club were not just willing jare make we no blow grammar! dem no rate am and that’s fine. No need for all the emotions of at this stage of his career he should not go bla bla bla. How you rate a player is the value you’re willing to place on him. Nothing to do with right thinking just value.

Ademola Lookman Expresses Frustration over Atalanta's Block on his Transfer

NB:

For those who constantly tied Osimhen's transfer struggles to attitude, I hope you now see how ridiculous your stance were. Victor didn't even do a public post as frustrating and inciting as the process were. And if you don't still think your stance is ridiculous, at least be consistent and hold Lookman to the same standard.

What's the obvious in saying they can't go more than 2nd round? In this football and surprise we see every time?

I am in a WhatsApp sport goup and someone prior to last world cup swore with everything that no African team will reach the semi final of the world cup (In His words, not even in the next 20years) what later happened?
But do u knw dt some certainties will always happen…for example togo 🇹🇬 or Libya 🇱🇾 will never win the World Cup 😎

I pray Lookman comes through out of this. Italy has always been a great ground for our players but it’s beginning to look like a gang up against our football. Our APOTYs back to back can’t be deserving of this sheer wickedness!

Is Galatasaray Togo? Does Togo have players? Do countries sign players? Those countries you mentioned don't have quality players, that is why they can't win it, or do you think if Argentina's squad wear the Libyan jersey and use the Libyan flag they won't go far in the World Cup? Do you know club football is not national team football? Your team is only as good as the quality of your players and signings over time.

If Galatasaray's probability to win the Champions League two seasons ago was 20%, do you think it'll still be 20% now? With the signings they made? Has the Club World Cup not even taught anybody anything here?

Make una no dey talk things to just suit una agenda. If you don't like the move, you don't like it, no be all these amateurish takes on football wey all of us dey watch for here.

Honestly I feel Osimhen has better chances of returning to the top 5 league from Turkey than from Saudi Arabia.

Anything wey make Osimhen enter Saudi, just forget it. Izz gone. grin

That being said, it might still be difficult to return to a top 5 league for the reasons listed in my previous post.
I think it will be easier from Saudi. The Saudis don’t tend to tie players down with strict contract conditions and Osimhen could hv easily informed them that after 2 seasons he can head back to europe if any good club comes for him and I bet you they will accept

But Gala will be difficult cus he has a longer contract with them and they would want to recoup Atleast more than half of their investment on him which will be difficult because of his age by then

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Darkprime(m):
To the vocal detractors of Osimhen, I empathize with your sentiments. His departure to Galatasaray is a tad bit frustrating knowing the type of player he his, and I'm one of the people who isn't fully satisfied. but please let's take it easy on the Galatasaray slander. It's unfortunate that they're in a league that isn't as competitive or impressive as the EPL, La Liga, Ligue 1 etc, but they're not a terrible team on their own by any means. We're talking of a team that was as big or arguably bigger than Real Madrid in the early 2000s. And they seem to be cooking something mean this season with their recent strategic player acquisitions, so let's not count them out of the UCL just yet. Who knows? Osimhen might even be able to propel them back to the heights of glory they used to enjoy in the 2000s.

Conversely, to the ardent supporters of Osimhen, I should probably remind you that value in sports is not rigidly defined. The perceived value of a player is always being influenced by a myriad of factors, including but not limited to age, injury propensity, market timing, club wage structures and so on. For this reason, I don't disagree with the idea of Osimhen being more conservative with his wage demands, but I guess he knows what's best for himself at the end of the day. I am certain, without a doubt, that Abrahamovich's Chelsea won't bat an eye twice for Osimhen, before bringing him in. The reluctance of certain clubs to meet the stipulated price tag does not necessarily denote a lack of appreciation for the player's abilities, but rather a calculated assessment of their financial and strategic priorities.

So let's try and be balanced with our takes here please.

Temper kor temple ni. cheesy

Tinubu has no choice but to finish what he started. Or you think D'Tigresses won't internalize that feeling that they're not respected if Tinubu doesn't even give them a nod? It's not like they're an age grade team, they're representing Nigeria at the most senior level.

We can talk about popularity and reach all day, but Nigerians are Nigerians. Emotions override thoughts here easily.

As for me, I've said it before and I will say it again: provided he performs well in our international tournaments, I'm good.

As calm as Lookman is, he's now exactly in the same situation Osimhen was in 2023/24 season, as respectful as this his message is to Atalanta administration, go and read the stuupeed comments from Atalanta fans under the post, and I remember one clown here supporting Atalanta and Napoli fans against Lookman and Osimhen respectively sometime ago.
