Aregbesola, once a key ally and political protégé of Tinubu, recently collapsed his Omoluabi Progressives bloc into the ADC, where he now serves as Interim National Secretary — a move widely interpreted as positioning himself against the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the build-up to 2027.

His defection has unsettled Tinubu loyalists, who view it as an act of disloyalty from a man once considered part of the president’s inner circle.

It’s not about Aregbe, it’s about Tinubu. Mention one person that tinubu purportedly raised and still in good term with him. Names like Ambode, Fashola, Fayemi, Sanwo-olu, Osinbajo, etc. just mention a name. Sanwo seems to be loyal at the moment just because he wants to complete his term in peace.

Why is it that we claim to be educated but cannot understand what we read?

Onanuga made no such threat. He simply posted a statement by someone called Mayor Akinpelu.

How poor is our education system that when we see quotation marks “…..” especially with a name we don’t understand it means the statement enclosed by quotations marks are the words of a third party?
