To the married ones and those in relationships or courtships, how do you respond to this question?
Personally, I believe that the law of diminishing returns holds in every aspect of life. Having to see someone everytime or do one thing repeatedly is Boring. Monotony kills interest.
This accounts for why most married people cheat. Sleeping with one woman/man for many years and probably, throughout your existence would make it boring and disinteresting. As a man, no matter how much you love a woman, immediately you sleep with her and c*m, you get up and the woman starts to irritate you. She no longer attracts you. You begin to look out for other ladies.

Sadly it happens, love turns sour at some point, but at this stage stop coitus and look for other bonding activities, this will ease tension, then you gradually and honestly have a heart to heart talk and maybe you might figure it out. I don't understand this my generation o. I used to know an elderly couple who have been married for 40 years. It's a normal marriage. They both used to go to their various shops and come back in the evening. One day the woman slumped and die. The baba refused to live. He kept saying he want to go with his wife. He refused to eat. After two months , he died. They were both buried on the same day. Now what do we call this type of love ?

There's more to marriage than the sex.
It's commitment and lots of sacrifices

Go and rethink back to the origin- what makes s/he attractive to you, when you were courting or dating, then rebuild and rekindle the love, and attractiveness again. Peace!!! ✌️

1. Make sure you've established a life of your own outside of your relationship before settling down... Not everything always has to be about your spouse, give each other some space to breathe... Even though my husband and I live under the same roof, we're mostly occupied in our own occupations throughout the week to a point that sometimes we can go for about a week without having proper quality time for each other apart from our usual video calls due to our schedules clashing.

Lunch time would be our bonding time because it might be the only time we'd get to see each other for the rest of the day... So we make sure to make every moment count whenever we have time for each other.

2. Have hobbies as couples, one of the things my husband and I have in common is our love for adventure and nature... We'd normally go to safaris, go camping, bungee jumping, hiking, canopy touring, river rafting, and etc...In fact, our white wedding was scheduled to be held at a safari resort, we had planned to take pictures with the giraffes and elephants on the day of our white wedding...

3. We understand each other's love languages and have familiarised ourselves with each other's likes and dislikes to avoid unnecessary conflicts.

4. We are each other's best friends, our relationship began with him as my mentor/tutor, progressed to friendship, which later blossomed into a relationship.

5. We're open with each other and apologise when necessary... Portraying traits of infallibility in a marriage will only lead to its downfall, so it's very important to be empathetic towards each other.

6. We have a common ground.

We might not know what the future has in store for us, but we're positive and hope for nothing but the best... We will of course have our shortcomings along the way, but hopefully we will prevail.

The problem and the truth about love and feeling outside blood relatives is lust.

Who we love is just like our fantasies.

A man will see a woman and love her at first site because of her physical apperance and nothing more.

The only true love exists between relatives. A man only truely love his Sisters, Mum and other relatives.

Any woman you can Bleep, what you have for her is lust and not true love. When the woman start going out of shape and her beauty starts fading away, you stop seeing her attractive.

Attraction 🧲 is beyond physical, for me , it is the story we share together, the happiness and the pains. Chances are, no any person would have gone through it like you like they did. This is what matters. Anyone going on looks should be ready to be disappointed. Big bellies , pot bellies, wrinkles, sickness and many more are bound to come because the body is always depreciating with time.

This however doesn't mean we should do nothing to make our look appealing to our partner as long as it is within our means, power and moral right to do. Hit the gym if you have to, maintain that healthy weight, wear that outfit just for them . In all it is beyond our looks.

Have you ever wonder why marriages with models and beauty queens and kings rarely last ? Their partners suddenly realized they needed more than the looks.
