Wrong advice. Omitting information about your bio-data is sensitive. Upon scrutiny that application will be refused. Unintentional mistakes lead to visa refusals.

BreconHills:
If everything else is in order, it won't matter. Once your application lines up with your international passport and there is no attempt to deceive.
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by BruceXavier: 5:11pm On Aug 02, 2025
Your major concern seems to be forfieting the appointment you already made which I consider a small price to pay for the error you already made. I hope it's not too late. Omitting your middle name on your visa application form is sensitive. If you doubt me ask the TLS rep when you go for your biometrics

spriteB:
Good to know, because I don't want to cancel the appointment I already booked. Thank you very much!

And this is why I mentioned bio data lining up with the international passport. Any discrepancy can by explained by an affidavit or a letter from NIS. There are many cases where there is discrepancy between say birth dates due to inadvertent entries at NIS. My son had one of this and he was never refused a visa.

Hello everyone,
I applied for a tourist visa to France, and my appointment date is the 13th. I have a few questions regarding my documents:

1. Is it mandatory to submit a Tax Clearance Certificate (TCC) for my CAC-registered business, even though the CAC status is active on the website but the TCC is not yet ready?

2. I am also employed — should I prioritize showing my personal employment documents or my business documents?

3. I have a personal bank statement with a balance of ₦5 million, and my business (corporate) account has about ₦6 million. Can I submit both?

4. Does the opening balance on the bank statement matter, or is the current balance more important for visa evaluation?

5. Do I need to pay for my flight in full before submission ?

I’d appreciate any advice or insight from those who’ve gone through similar processes. Thank you!

You don’t need to pay for flight ticket all you need to do is a dummy flight ticket, flight itinerary, letter of introduction on your letter head, passport photograph, itinerary letter, copy of other visas of you have any, copy of documents if you have landed properties, bank statement business and personal
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by sirrotex: 5:43pm On Aug 03, 2025
You don't need to submit tax clearance certificate for your business. You business documents and contracts suffice.

You need to prioritise both sources of income since you would be submitting both bank statements.

Also do well to explain your circumstances in your letter.

Best wishes

Pls does anyone know if the TLS website is usually down on weekends? I’m trying to book an appointment, but the site is currently not working. If anyone can help with information about available dates, I would really appreciate it.
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by GudluckIBB(m): 11:44pm On Aug 03, 2025
Sir,

If my company is sponsoring the trip by covering the airfare, will a board resolution be sufficient, or should I also submit the company’s statement of accounts along with my documents?

Thank you for your response. I honestly don't have any issue forfeiting the payment, it's just that my travel date it very close and I might not get a close date again. My appointment is August 11. I just checked the FAQ section of the France website and found the screenshot below and attached. Please what do you think?

I made a mistake in the application form. What can I do?
You must fill out a new form. No need to delete this form or your account. Print the good version of your form and add it to the required documents.

Just submitted my france application and got this mail from the hotel booking

There was a problem with the payment method you provided at booking. To keep the reservation, you’ll need to contact the hotel and provide a valid payment method within 24 hours.

Thank you!

I have tried contacting the hotel yo resolve whatever issue it is, so my booking isnt cancelled while my application is under review, they are yet to respond

Anyone experienced this, and how did they resolve it, or it didnt affect their application?

Congratulations. Do you have any previous visa like UK, US, Canada etc?

Also, it'll be nice if you can share some little info about your application (i.e. submitted documents).

Congratulations once again, enjoy your trip!

I remember when I first came here to ask questions, just want to use this to motivate someone.

Everything is doable in as much as the options are there for you to choose from.

Apples and Oranges. The poster clearly stated that he/she made an omission. You're comparing that error to your son whose discrepancy by your claim is due to inadvertent entries on the part of the NIS. You even claim an error like birth date not matching can be overlooked. I don't understand your position.

I will repeat it again, if the names on your form do no match the names on the biodata page of your passport, that error is grounds for a refusal. In the past people have been refused over wrong passport size talkless of something as sensistive as a person's name

With regards to what you should do, I've stated my opinion, others have equally stated it's not a big deal either. It's up to you to decide

My screenshot below which is the last thing you do before submission should help you understand my position

Great! Go ahead and proceed.

In the past when I had a similar situation with an applicant we called TLS and were advised to fill another form, then schedule another appointment thereby forfeiting the previous one. From the FAQ you posted, it looks like things have changed now. It's good to know that you dont have to forfeit your exisiting appointment.

All the very best
