Thanks, you mean during interview? because some people are saying one must upload cv and motivaional letter while some did not upload and they were callled for interview, pls what do you suggest, thanks
Hannania:
Your recognition and SL/BA is all that matters as a skilled applicant. The VO will however ask for your experience based on the field you chose during your application. This will be a yardstick used to change your visa. Meaning you have to get a job within that domain

While applying, you'll indicate the field you want to practice in when you arrive in Germany. If the field you indicated differs from what you studied, the VO will request for CV and motivational letter during preliminary review. It's also optional if they don't ask you to upload too.

When you go for interview, they'll manually request for your experience and input it in the system. If however your experience matches your degree and the field you input , you won't go through this stress. This was the case for me. I have an engineering degree, and experience in the field. So I didn't upload CV or motivational letter and they didn't request for it either.

The first is the page where your course is listed, the second is for thr page where it shows your university as H+. Alternatively, you can upload ZAB's letter

Hello @ Hannanias

I am currently in Germany with opportunity card visa and just lost a loved one. I want to travel to Nigeria. My question is will I be allowed to come back to Germany with my visa.
Thank you

I have a general question please or more like an advice if anyone with similar experience could help...

I plan to use the Block Account route with about 13k euros. However, I don't have that money yet.

Will it be advisable to start the process now and enter the interview queue while using the time to gather the money or it is better to get the money first before even starting? Thanks.

Pls this is for those that used Expatrio in funding thier blocked account;
What method did you use to transfer your funds?
I'm only seeing "international money transfer", and that is a long process that requires me opening a domiciliary account.
Pls any pointers atall.. @Hannania, @Haliimmaa and all

While I was waiting for Zab statement, I reached preliminary review and they asked me to upload the zab statement, I replied them that I am still waiting for it, then after 2weeks I saw application couldn't process on my dashboard. Should start afresh or is there a way I can upload and get appointment when the Zab statement is out.

The opportunity card is a multiple entry visa therefore you can travel to Nigeria as many times as you like within the stipulated time frame of the visa so yes you can travel and come back

Thanks Hannania for being so helpful. please I have two questions
1. Does the opportunity card permit migrating with kid at the same time.

2.Is this the form we fill to join the waitlist https://videx.diplo.de/videx/visum-erfassung/videx-langfristiger-aufenthalt

Other countries allow kids below 2 years to join their parents. Currently, Nigeria has not granted visa to anyone that I know of.

When it's ready, email the embassy and explain you case while attaching the ZAB certificate

get someone with a euro account to help you out. Or get a contact in Germany. You can also use domiciliary account, the fee is around €150 Extra

€13,091 is not €1300. I avoid money matters with strangers

Hmmmm... I understand bro. I just have like 2weeks left for the countdown to the review date. That's why I'm worried.

@ Hannania
Thank you for all the information you have been helping with so far.

I have my SL already but this is my 4th week of 2-8week waiting to submit. here is my question:
My sponsor applied for my SL in June 2025. I guess it supposed to expire in one year. will it affect anything since we are to select a one year duration of stay in the travel data form, and the SL is already counting.

@hannania, good morning.

Please, I got this feedback from the consulate on the correction for the document for recognition of the degree previously updated. Please, what does it mean? Do i need to use Zab?

Thank you Alikeychuks, for providing this response. For issues already answered, others can help out to reduce the response pressure on Hannaniah. He has been so helpful and a 'brother's keeper' indeed.
