🚨🗣️ Atalanta CEO Percassi confirms: “The pact with Lookman was made one year ago when we rejected €20m from PSG”.

“We told him: we’ll let you leave in 2025 for a super top club and not in Italy. Now, the situation [with Inter] is different… and as always, it’s us deciding.”
Deja vü 😵‍💫

Inasmuch as I'm not happy about Lookman's situation, I'm glad it's happening because it takes an unfortunate incident to happen twice before some of you learn and see the reality of things.

Lookman's situation is just a mirror of Osimhen's situation.

Osimhen - Lookman
APOTY 2023 - APOTY 2024
PSG came for him - PSG came for him too
Napoli rejected - Atalanta rejected
Napoli frustrated his moves to top clubs - Atalanta is doing same
Napoli doesn't want him sold to Italian clubs - Atalanta is doing same

The only difference between them is that:
Osimhen is an illiterate - Lookman is Albert Einstein

Lol, you don't need Charles Xavier, Tony Stark or Bruce Wayne's level of smartness to simply decode what was going on in the entire Osimhen's saga, but I think Lookman's saga will interprete it better.

I know he'll scale through tho, transfer window still far. Phucckkk Italian clubs!

England will call him up before NFF/Chelle realizes he's eligible to play for SE, it will only take a miracle for him or Nwaneri to play for Nigeria.

its quite the same situation with Osimhen as he was unable to move to clubs in italy due to this no selling to italian club rule but the narrative of bad behaviour is easier for you to believe.

Who even came up with this CHAN idea sef? These CHAN Eagles have been a constant deficit for as long as I can remember. As bad as our main squad is, these boys don't hold a candle to them.

CAF is just doing this CHAN stuff for the benefit of scrubs like Kenya and Niger whose main squads are no different from their CHAN squad, given that many of their players are locally based anyway.

I'm only going to watch our games to get more glimpses of Eric Chelle's tactics and strategies with our team. Call me negative, but I fully expect us to drop out before the knockout stages. Let's see if they can prove me wrong.

You guys should learn to calm down..
Una just dey cry about this move since..
You can't know what's best for him more than the one wearing the shoes himself..

You're looking from the outside..
I'm sure the whole details of why he ended up on Galatasaray have not been released..

Give the guy a break
Osimhen has done no wrong..
When ADL wanted to frustrate him last season, Gala gave him a way out..
See the lengths they have gone to sign him up now.. see the sacrifice!
It's difficult to turn away from that kind of love and desire..

They are even buying players and strengthening their squad to make them more competitive ..

Na so una talk about PSG being in a farmers league until they flog everybody last season..

Again I say, you guys should learn to calm down
Make season start, I trust Victor to shut everybody up .. Hausa league or not
Unfortunately Dude 😎 the only person SHUTTING UP and getting out of the discussion now of top strikers is VO.

Who goes to play in the retirement league in their Prime 🤔

In the same week Nigerians are being bashed in some foreign countries but make we celebrate the ones giving us a good reputation out there na problem. I bet if it was an English player getting this vibe in Turkey it will be in the British media all week cos they know that’s a huge thing for their country but no for us we must become critical of anything good and that’s why small countries like Ghana diss us a lot cos we have rubbished ourselves before them. If we like make we continue this stupid habit and think we are being clever, imagine Morocco petitioning CAF alleging that we used ineligible players that’s how they don see us finish including Libya pulling useless stunts on us few months ago. But do I blame them of course not because we Dey yeye ourselves too much out there on top nothing.
Which quality English player will go to Turkish league unless for retirement.

Arrogant view as usual, if an English player gets the kind of coverage or attention in Turkey VO is getting or anywhere else it will be huge news, ok? VO going to Turkey was never a function of quality in the first place.

To start with, my position is not about judging Osimhen's choice. Whatever Osimhen chooses to do with his career is none of my business. I am just making my own personal observations on what I believe is the optimal environment for a player of his stature, and no disrespect to Galatasaray - I know they're a very solid team and will be playing in the UCL, and may likely go very far - but respectfully, and in light of the current state of affairs, I simply don't see the Turkish League as one for someone of Osimhen's caliber. And frankly I don't think there's anything he'll do in that league that would impress me that much. Simple. We all don't have to agree with each other. Would I rather he be in the Top 5 leagues in Europe? Absolutely yes, because right now, they're more competitive and will boost his global brand even further to match or even exceed that of Kanu and Okocha. Is there anything I can do about it? NO. And I've made my peace with it.

If Osimhen thinks the Turkish league best suits him, then good for him. Like I said, the only thing wey concern me be say make the bobo turn up for our international games and perform well. That's why I'm satisfied with the fact that he'll still be active. That's what matters more to me. Afterall nobody gives a hoot about Vincent Aboubakar until he's playing games for Cameroon. And he performs well there.
Money 🤑 is not everything, Rashford has gone to Barcelona taking a considerable pay cut. He takes it as a challenge and he has something to prove.

What does he do, he heads to Barcelona to prove himself and his doubters wrong.

VO has chased 🤑💰 over legacy and world class fame. He is not getting younger but wants to play Turkish league in his prime. It's his prerogative.

With regard to his performance for the SE, he was not great in the last AFCON scoring one goal 🥅 for a player with World class ambitions, is not good enough.

Maybe he will show the world what he can do when he gets us to the next world 🌎 cup.
