Hi
Please what documents do I need to legalise if I want to go to Portugal for BSC.
I have a diploma (I have authorised the transcripts and my o’’level)
Thanks
You will authenticate and legalize your o level transcript (ss1-ss3), then your Waec or Neco certificate.
I can assist in the authenticate if needs be.

Yes you will have to authenticate and legalize your documents before applying..it is very important except you want to just give them the 50, or 70 EUR application fee, some of this sch will not tell you, after you apply and not get the admission, that's when they will tell you, it was as a result of applying with documents not legalized.
Many fall to that victim.
Shout out to @Freedomtours.....

Yes sir,
Portugese schools / institutions seem a bit dubious, i realized that MOST of them find a way NOT to return even the fees you have paid..
(and i'm not talking about application fees)...

I hope they are not craftly / taking advantage / exploiting africans out of their money...
Cos
It was funny to me, i have never had that happen in all my years applying schools and studying overseas....

All is well tho..... . . We still flying high!!!!

Good-luck everyone....

Thank you again for your response. Please does the Portuguese embassy accept Legalization payment in Naira by card or in Euros in cash?

freedomtours:
Yes, you will give the person authorisation letter

degelinglacis:
Oh
It is in Naira
The first picture below is current price of the amount for 2 documents (Bsc & transcript )
The second picture is for 4 documents certificate (Hnd, Nd, Hnd transcript and Nd transcript)

They will write the amount in paper like the one below and ask you to go to Eco bank and pay into their account and bring back the payment receipt.

Some were rejected based on insufficient fund, many of these people actually have sufficient fund but lack sufficient explanation of the source of fund in their statement of purpose.

The finance section of your sop/Loe is very important to avoid refusal.
Statement of Purpose is an important driver of your application. Write effectively.

Don't get refused because of a weak SOP. A statement of purpose represents you in writing.

Back your SOP/LOE up with the needed documents and proof.

Your proof of fund section is important, explain all about your financial plan; the source of the lump sums in the account you will be presenting
Your home tie is important to avoid refusal due to purpose of visit and based on temporary stay.
Statement of Purpose
Letter of Explanation

SOP/LOE Tip.
Introduce yourself
Your academic background
Work history
State the reason for choosing your course
State the reason for choosing your school
Why you prefer the country of choice
Tuition fee breakdown
Extra information to buttress your points
A sound conclusion.

How to structure your statement of purpose (SOP)
Introduction

Academic background

Work Experience

Reasons for choosing your course, school and Canada

Finance/Home Tie

Guys... Good day...

Please, Does anyone know if the portugese embassy, Nigeria,
grants visas for LANGUAGE SCHOOLS / STUDY??

I think they should... Right?

Even though I was reading posts from 2018 that says they dont give LANGUAGE sch
&
that they even dont grant visas for BSC ??

I highly doubt that... in 2025..
but
I need credible clarifications.. for language schools...

if anyone has genuine insights... please... Thanks...
Dont waste your money o... a lot has changed in that country oooo...

Does anyone know what’s going on with VFS Global? I checked on the website and there are no slots for the month of August. How can one book an appointment for August please? Has anyone been able to or is there any other way to go about it?

Good Evening All,

So i have an available date for legalization for 7th August but i won't be using it anymore as i was able to submit my documents through another means.

If you need it, him me up.

Please, it's at a fee.

No body can use that, because the name of the applicant on the appointment is your name, embassy won't accept it, I have try it severally at the embassy they didn't agree.
Just cancel it so that another person can pick the date.
Thank you.

Good morning everyone. Please I need your help with POF information. Please can I use my Microfinance Bank Account as POF for my Study Visa Application. I am self employed and have a business which I run and payments are made into my Personal Account with a Microfinance Bank. I am asking as most of the Banks people have been presenting are commercial banks. I have admission already and looking to book for Visa in August.

Thank you as I look forward to your response. Anyone here used Microfinance Bank Statement for this year and got their Visa Approved?

It depends on the documents you may had sent to your friend.
If its educational documents it goes through both the ministry of education and foreign affairs which has both white paper sticker from the ministry of education and seals containing the 2signatures from foreign affairs.
Albeit if its civil documents (birth certificate, marriage certificate etc) it would have the ministry of foreign affairs seal and the 2 signatures that you mentioned without the paper sticker from the ministry of education
