Tohsynetita1:They do use a huge log of wood to force you to either slow down or stop completely. Almost had similar experience from Taraba to Onisha some years ago as a youth corper. The driver went off the road to narrowly dodge the wooden impediment. A newbie on that route would have thought it is the police. However the police and army also employ the same tactics, the reason why even pro drivers could get confused as to who they might be slowing down for. |

onuman:Very well said. Kidnapping is not the exclusive preserve of Fulanis as disclosed by this guy here. And it makes a whole lot of sense, the indigenous criminals in each locality would never fold their arms and allow the Fulani bandits alone make all the money from kidnapping without competing for the spoils! |

This is exactly why I hesitate when people from the Tiv regions (Kogi and Benue) try to align themselves with the Yorubas. Yoruba culture is rooted in love, hospitality, and deep values. But unfortunately, some individuals from those areas still seem influenced by a blend of conflicting identities and a lingering dependence mentality that doesn’t reflect the Yoruba spirit. |

So, upon all the NIN, BVN, Driver's Licence, International Passport, SIM REGISTRATION, Birth Certificate, Police Report and gbogbo ti gbo. Kidnappers are still collecting ransom without being traced. I would have spat on our security agencies, unfortunately, I'm out of saliva. This country is rotten to the core! Tueh! ![]() |

This is very sad,the very people you believe they are the victims are actually among the perpetrators, but how was it possible to collect these huge sums of money easily either by cash or transfer without any lead, what is the purpose of BVN,nin and other security codes. Government must work hard to stop proliferation of arms in our country. |

abc115:14 times 10million . That’s 140 million Naira in a short time . If they execute this 10 times a year that’s 1.4 billion Naira . This is why kidnapping cannot stop until the government mandates public execution of convicted kidnappers . Knowing you will die a shameful public death will be a huge deterrent for people who want to start kidnapping as a business . We have complacent politicians who are wicked and painfully slow . The wife is collecting and living large on the proceeds of crime . Arrest her and the kids . Lock them up as well as his families . Let him start spending the money on himself in the bush. This is really sad to read |

Raxxye:They are Tivs, I grew up in Taraba and I know what they can do. They've kidnapped my uncles before. Funny thing is just like the narrator the people living in those villages know them very well. Is Gana their former leader not TIv? Fulani won't be that bold to kidnapped along a TIv dominated area. |
