And the date the Pandora Papers quoted that Peter Obi opened the offshore bank account was before he ventured into politics, it was before he became Anambra state Governor, so how a private citizen decides to save his personally earned income does not concern anybody. World billionaires, including Americans operate offshore bank accounts in tax haven countries to avoid being taxed for their savings.


So if at all the Pandora papers were correct, Obi committed no single crime by deciding to save his personal income earned from doing private businesses for decades in a bank account he opened in a country that doesn't tax investors, that's smart move.

That was how Peter Obi invested Anambra state money in International Breweries a South African owned giant brewery that have ended up becoming the highest non government tax payer in the whole of Anambra state today. They employ nothing less than 5000 people through direct and indirect jobs. Can you beat that? Instead of looting the money like Tinubu and other corrupt Governors, he decided to invest it wisely for the state, that is the kind of President Nigeria needs, not the President that loots our treasury for his family alone.

These cabals fought Obi ruthlessly when he tried to stop their feeding bottles. They bought the entire Anambra state house of Assembly who then ganged up and impeached Obi and removed him illegally. Obi didn't fight them physically because he is a man of peace who believes in rule of law. He went to court and won. It was when Obi was removed that Nigeria had her first female Governor Dame Eti-Aba who was his deputy as Governor.


They still removed him a second time, Obi went back to court again and won. So Obi never had peace as Governor to start organizing LGA election immediately he was elected. It was from one political battle to another with Anambra political cabals back then. But still he later organized the LGA elections after winning all the political battles and settling down finally even though it was a bit late.
