I have my SL already but this is my 4th week of 2-8week waiting to submit. here is my question:
My sponsor applied for my SL in June 2025. I guess it supposed to expire in one year. will it affect anything since we are to select a one year duration of stay in the travel data form, and the SL is already counting.

SL is valid for 6 months from date of issuance to the day you'll use it at the embassy. When your visa is approved, the validity in Germany starts counting from the day your visa is stamped as indicated on your passport

Do I still need an affidavit to be uploaded along side the cert for opportunity card application ?

From my experience, most schools don’t typically give students their official transcripts; instead, they send them directly to the requesting body. Students usually only have access to the student copy, which lists all coursework.

For those who have applied for and received the Statement of Comparability from ZAB, did your school have to send the official transcript directly (by post or email), or was the student copy uploaded in the application form sufficient?

2. Or wait till the 2-6 months waiting period elapses in my dashboard?

My SL isn't out yet and so I can't complete the reference section and other sections on the videx form.

Had no option for student copy. Hence transcript was sent directly the provided ZAB email address

Firstly, avoid posting your personal details on a public forum.

This should be enough, however, just get an affidavit which should cost you nothing and this makes sure the VO does not request for it during preliminary review

1. When you complete the videx form and upload all documents, your dashboard will change to "Waiting list" automatically. That's the day you join the waitlist

2. Fill a dummy input in your reference section and upload your international passport for documents you don't have. You can always edit when it's your turn to send for preliminary review

1. I have secured a job in DE that will pay €2530 per month, but for 40hrs a week. Will this affect me since the acceptable hours is 20hrs.

2. My institution is fully recognized on Anabin, but my degree a BSC is not listed, there is instead an HND of it listed. Can this suffice as my proof since a BSC is basically the best of both worlds?

3. There’s a part we’re to upload primary school report. Problem is my primary school hasn’t existed anymore for maybe 20years. I do not have the certificate.

I need genuine information please my people.

I’m a solid A2, I tried for B1 early this year and luckily got it. So I’d been using that when applying for jobs.

1. I would have asked you to apply for a work visa, but that salary clearly shows it's not a skilled job. Which means you working with it in Germany will violate your chancenkarte stay and sill cause issues when you want to renew or switch.

2. HND is recognised as a vocational education in Germany. It is only available to be used for Bsc admission in Germany. The German government does not see it in anyway equivalent to a Bachelors degree. So it won't fly.


3. Go to the primary Board of your local government and get a primary school certificate

Downloaded and registered on the cardremit app as you suggested. But I can see I have a daily limit that won't allow transfer of the BA funds all at once. Were you faced with this and how did you find a way around it? And also is it possible I transfer to my BA twice and Expatrio will accept?
And please how did you verify proof of address. It has declined everything I uploaded.
