Madugu has been nominated as the ballon d'or women coach of the year. Has any other WAFCON winning coach been ever nominated for this before?

Two days ago, Cyriel Dessers scored a goal and assisted another in Rangers' 3-0 victory over Viktoria Plzen in a UEFA Champions League qualifying match. 😎

Imagine if Man United play play come sign Baleba from Brighton na em say 3 indomitable lion players dey the club while our own national team players dey run go Turkey 🇹🇷 🤦‍♀️😭

Everyday we go dey here dey hype average players to high heaven

My only hope of super eagles player joining a big club this window na Lookman and it will happen na just matter of time
Cameroon that's a Franco speaking African,

Check well you will notices Franco speaking Africans had it more good than Anglo,

Both Agents and Chance favour them more, I don't know why

Lookman and chukwueze should start practicing direct free kicks. We should be able to rely on the two of them in that department. It is about time. We need a reliable back up goalkeeper for the suspended okoye. I fear that nwabali might accumulate yellow card and we would be scrambling for a goal keeper.

This is huge. But, I think Weigman takes this.

I don’t bother posting about the lad here though have heard about his talent playing for Liverpool’s youth team because I know he will be a tough one to get now that there is too much hype surrounding him

I only quoted your post to correct you that he is Nigerian. I don’t see him playing for us
In football ⚽ opportunity can be much more important than actual ability.

Once Ngouhma was bought from Chelsea as an exceptional talented footballer ⚽ he was earmarked as that GUY.

The problem is that decision has to be justified by not allowing other players to be seen to be better than him.

Rio played 24 games for Liverpool U18's but scored just 2 goals. This is a team with instructions to give him the ball at every opportunity. I felt there were three Nigerian origin players just as good or possibly better and one Jamaican who was potentially better.

Three of the players are younger than him faster, more athletic and two far better finishers one is still 15. But this is the politics of football it's not always about the best. In addition you will quite often have conflicting interests.

In addition the over hype around Rio can also be engineered he has a PR company working for him. On account of that he has now a fab sponsorship deal with Adidas.

Nigeria players are playing to escape poverty not for passion so all this moves are justified
How much money 🤑💰💵💸 is enough for one not to be poor and or to have "escape poverty"

I think 💬🤔 the problem is , "Poverty Mentality" in fact this is the Nigerian problem. We have politicians who have stolen so much money that it will extend to their fourth generation.

But poverty mentality makes them still steal more and more plus more.and they are never satisfied. They don't think of an everlasting legacy of a good name, honour, recognition and fame.

Our football players follow the same pattern largely money over worldwide recognition adulation and fame.

ASPTT Montpellier Football Féminin has appointed John Chuwudi Utaka as head coach of its women’s team.

Utaka’s leadership is expected to usher in a new era for the team, blending tactical discipline with a passion for player development.

contenders? Not yet but there is huge improvement in players attitude and team play. Also they are getting used to Amorim’s system

Saw them play during the EPL series in the US a week ago and I’m impressed

God’s grace the team can finish in 5th-7th position this coming season

with Sesko in the bag, if united can get Carlos Baleba and a good keeper with Donarumma and Lammens linked with a possible transfer the team will do better than last season
