Cheapest Web Hosting Providers In Nigeria – My Honest Review (2025) by henryweb(op):
If you’re like me, you don’t want to throw away money on overpriced web hosting when there are reliable, budget-friendly options in Nigeria. I’ve done my homework and even tested a few providers over the past year. Here’s my list of some of the cheapest web hosting providers in Nigeria that still give you good speed, uptime, and support.

1. telaHosting

Price: From ₦600/month

Why I like it: Affordable, free SSL, unlimited bandwidth, and fast NVMe SSD storage. They also give you a free domain on all the hosting plans.
In fact, telaHosting offers both cPanel and DirectAdmin, so you can make your choice of control panel. Above all, they offer free migration and 24/7 support.

2. HostNowNow

Price: From ₦1,200/month

Why I like it: Easy to use, with 24/7 support. They also have local payment options and good uptime.

3. QServers

Price: From ₦1,800/month

Why I like it: Popular in Nigeria for reliable hosting and responsive customer service. Good for small business websites.

4. GO54

Price: From ₦2,500/month

Why I like it: Nigeria’s largest hosting company with beginner-friendly features and a large community.

5. Truehost Nigeria

Price: From ₦992/month

Why I like it: Simple hosting packages, cloud hosting options, and cheap starter plans.

These are their recent monthly plans and can get cheaper when you purchase hosting for a minimum of 1year just like telaHosting does.

💡 Henry’s Tip:
When choosing a cheap host, don’t just look at the price. Check for uptime (should be at least 99.9%), storage type (SSD or NVMe is better), and whether they offer free SSL and backups.

I’ve personally found telaHosting to give the best balance between price and speed, but it’s always good to compare based on your needs.

Which of these have you tried? Share your experience — it might help someone save money and avoid headaches.

Solid list, Henry 👌. You’re right — price alone shouldn’t be the deciding factor. A few other things webmasters should keep in mind when comparing Nigerian hosting providers:

Support speed → cheap hosting is no good if you wait days for replies. Live chat or quick ticket turnaround is a big plus.

Scalability → it helps if your host makes it easy to move from shared → VPS → dedicated/cloud as your traffic grows.

Extras → free SSL is becoming standard, but not everyone throws in backups, domain deals, or automation support.

For anyone exploring alternatives, you might also want to check Hordanso.net. They’re strong on .ng domains (among the cheapest rates right now), plus hosting options with fast support. I’ve noticed they go beyond just hosting — offering help with chatbots, live agents, and even workflow automation (n8n, Zapier, Make.com, GHL etc.), which is a nice bonus for businesses that want more than just cPanel.

Worth comparing alongside the others before making a choice. 👍

This is a solid list
For anyone considering QServers, I would say their customer support alone is worth the price difference, they actually follow up till your issue is fixed.

Curious though has anyone tried their multi website hosting? Thinking of using it for my web design projects.
